Dan Gilvezan, the voice of G1 Bumblebee launches his new book detailing the behind the scenes of the Transformers cartoon series.

very cool-wonder why they changed BB's robot mode so drastically-probably because the chest design doesnt work as well without the G1 mass shifting

 

I think Dan's BumbleBee voice would be great for an interpretation of the character where he is a seasoned veteran Autobot tasked with training new rookies.

Very sweet video, Mr. Gilvezan still pulls off Bumblebee flawlessly. I may have to pick this up! Can't wait to read about the good ol' days =)

 

Mannnn wouldn't it be nice to have Mr.Gilvezan do Bumblebee's voice for Tf rime? Would be a lot nicer than the Beep beeep noises he makes.

 

It's funny, but as much of a Transformers fan as I am, I still think of him first as Peter Parker from the 'Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends' cartoon.

 

Here's hoping he does a book signing at Botcon this year.

I am so happy now that I've have finally heard that bumblebee voice the way it was intended to be.

 

ah yes, the good old days when bee had a voice...

 

I'm going to need another shelf, heck, bookcase for all of my TF books, must add this one too!!

I've managed to fill 3 book shelves so far...and probably a few lying around the house here and there.  

 

Did 'Bee always sound so old? I never noticed. I can imagine this voice for movie 'Bee though. The hugging that would be going on behind the scene will be record-breaking.

 

Or it has nothing to do with anything. They just used the unreleased (aka updated) Alternators concept design. That seems to be Smoov's preference with Autobot car characters - using their Alt designs.
