Two-and-a-half hours to go and I'm already sweating with anticipation (though that might be the high heat and humidity, lol). If it's anything like previous SDCC panels, pictures will be allowed.

Should be interesting to see what new figures they'll show. I don't expect too much more than what we already know, but there have been some nice surprised to come out of these panels before. A look at some more TFP toys would definitely be really nice. Most especially Voyager Starscream.

Rescue Bots
-8/1 release date, good to know.

Generations:
-Junkheap- nice name.
-Sky Shadow- typo or name change? Either way should be interesting.

-Nerf Barricade- sounds interesting.

DotM:
-Soundwave- good to know he's in wave 6.
-Wheeljack- also good to know.
-Ironhide- should be interesting.
-HA Soundwave- "Mr Gould"? Laserbeak should look nice.
-Cyb. Soundwave- kinda curious to see how he looks next to Bumblebee.
-Twin Twist & Leadfoot- should be interesting to see. Not sure if I'll get it or not.

TFP:
-Cliffjumper- saw the pictures of him in the case, definitely getting the normal version.
-Vehicon- looks great, can't wait to get multiples of him.
-Voy. Prime- definitely skipping the Deluxe for him.
-Voy. Bulkhead- can't wait to see him in-person.
-Leg. Arcee- should be interesting to see.
-Leg. Wheeljack- it's nice to know he has his swords.
-Leg. Bumblebee- should be cool, and having weapons is always nice.
-Com. Ironhide- should be intersting to see an off-screen (for now) character made as a toy.
-Cyb. Wheeljack's ship- sounds like it should be cool. Might convince me to get some of the Cyberverse stuff.
-Soundwave- was hoping for a Voyager, but if they can pull him off as a Deluxe, I'll be ok. Laserbeak helps a bit.
-Knockout- nice to know he's on his way.
-Wheeljack- he should be awesome.
-Voy. Skyquake- wasn't sure if they would make him, but it's good to know they are.
-Voy. Starscream- good to know I'll finally get to see him. The light-up energon weapon sounds awesome.

The Ride:
-Sounds slightly interesting...
-If I'm ever there I might ride it, but it's not a priority.
-EVAC- sounds interesting. Being a mass-release is nice to know.

Q&A:
-Wanting to continue Generations- wanting to do something, and putting the effort into doing so are two ENTIRELY different things.
-Missing figures of Gen. and RTS- they'll probably say that same thing for the next two years, and then just stop answering those questions.
-Focusing on movie style- not at all surprising. These "will so-and-so get a figure in such-and-such line" are pointless. They always give the same answer.
-Dino, Brains, and Cancer awareness Bumblebee- No real answer, as expected.
-PCC figures- Why was this asked? The non-answer answer is the only response you're ever going to get with this kind of question.
-IDW based toys- Isn't this asked every single time an event like this happens? Seriously, just WAIT and SEE.
-Gen. Arcee- Yet another "will character x be made in line y" question, and yet another wording of the same non-answer answer...

There's inevitably going to be a lot of "that was the worst panel ever!" complaints, but I actually rather enjoyed it. A bit light on the DotM reveals, but I was more than happy with the TFP stuff. My only complaint is the Q&A session. They really need to start screening these questions. Seriously, we don't need ten "will character x get made in line y" questions. They aren't going to give you a real answer, so DON'T ASK!

Anyways, can't wait to see the pictures. I just hope I don't have to wait another hour to get the page of them loaded, lol...

Weirdly enough, the Prime toys have been of such general good quality that I'm not super excited about them. I fully expect them to be of show characters, to kick ass, and to be readily available. It's all good news, but I'm having a hard time imagining a big surprise there.

The releases for DotM, OTOH, have been so WONKY that I can't help but be excited to finally get some clarification. I'd like to see the Wal-Mart listing toys (i.e. the people who actually showed up in the movie last month), hopefully clear up that Leader rumor going around, giggle at weird store exclusives, and hopefully be surprised by something.

As far as Generations, which always gets our blood up, I don't expect to see new molds but they diiiiid drop that Arcee hint at BotCon2012, so who knows? It would even be nice to see Black Shadow and Junkion, though again not much to be surprised over. I feel like we already got the biggest news and that's that new figures are coming out in the line AFTER DotM.

 

Something I would love to hear is that the '86 movie will be getting a U.S. Blu Ray release.

 

Thats what im worried about the traffic and Tfw2005 shows that message while they're revealing the new toys! 

 

I'm taking it for granted that we'll get some good news with DotM now that the embargo is done.

I think the IGN pics may have spoiled the Prime stuff, so I won't hope for too much new there.

Odds are the Generations figs aren't mainstream enough to get reveals, but I'd love to be wrong.

More than anything, I need to know what the plans are for Rumble/Frenzy.

Only a Half Hour to go. This is exciting. I hope they reveal more Prime stuff like Voyager Starscream or Megatron.

 

Considering how much was clearly kept secret at Botcon 2011, there is sure to be some awesome news. The fact they put out the prototypes of the Prime toys already and the pics of them alone is enough for me (and my wallet, since Cliffjumper looks like a boss, Bulkhead is now a requirement for my collection, and the Eradicon is just begging for me to start wasting money by troop building him) but hopefully it won't be the end of new products.

Reaction 1: Damnit, that means we won't be getting her until 2013 at the latest, but only if the Mayans are wrong about December 21st, 2012!

Reaction 2: Waaaaaaait a second...how do you know they said that at Botcon 2012?
