I am very curious to see what CrazyDevy can do to improve this mold because it definitely needs it!

Yes? I don't really see the point either, especially not for the price they're bound to ask for.

 

i need to see the rest of this upgrade, mainly what they plan on doing about the legs. I remember they put up something a while back saying "skinny superion no more".

 

I think actually the chest is the same, and it's the red belt piece that's new. It seems wider with more molded details than the vintage. Anyone else able to back me up on this?

 

Looking at the part here, it's the white plate that's different.

No bottom wings, more square lower part, narrower top.

We need more PREDAKING upgrades before moving onto these other projects.

 

Actually they sold the Superion head addon before they showed a teaser of Predaking. I hope they do sell the new gold and orange color addon for Predaking for the new rerelease.

 

This must be what the "Thin Superion no more!" announcement was for. A month late but whatever.

I hope they keep the parts coming for Superion. Heck, I hope they take a shot at upgrading G1 Bruticus too.

 

I'm interested in the Predaking parts. This, not so much.

 

CrazyDevy next offering stretched out Superion chest

Not sure how this makes him less skinny.

 

I'm assuming it helps cover the black pieces where his pelvis is for whatever future piece they're coming out with to bulk up the thighs.

 

Are the legs positioned differently in that pic? Superion usually looks like he's riding a horse.

 

They are. And the red pelvis piece is lower to cover up just that.

Incidentially...

 

I think they are trying to accomodate the new release and the old. That would explain the 24k gold on the wings.

 

so they decided to "fix" the only part of the toy that did NOT need fixing   good job.

 

Looks like the are throwing the gun in with the chest piece for CDMW-13. The rifle looks a lot less bent than it did the first time it showed up.

They should make clip on pieces for the thighs to make them thicker.
