I cannot overstate how much I like this toy.

One nice little touch is how the chest piece is actually painted in two tones, bronze on the sides with a pink band in the center. It's a detail they probably could have left out for cost reasons, but it really helps solidify the homage (mimicking the Stunticons' metal chest-plates and central plastic column).

And man, that head is so gloriously retro. Can. Not. Wait.

I honestly think that headsculpt looks awful. Looks like a bad cartoon drawing sloppily photoshopped onto the body. A real disconnect between aesthetics.

the head looks great. especially the face, which actually looks like a normal transformer face sculpt, which I think is a first for FP. no bloated eyes, or odd lips. hooray for progress!

    Exactly!!!! :)

I dunno, I like how blocky and sort of silly it looks. I have an affinity for kitschy bots, I guess.

I really don't like the G2 paint schemes at all.

That being said, I'm still getting a box set...

I really hope that the Club/Convention/Hasbro give us a G1 repaint of this. I would love a G1 Breakdown out of this mold.

Wow that is beautiful. Can't wait to see Clench and whoever else gets a new headsculpt. Just wished that there was more character that was using the Sideswipe/Sunstreaker mold in the set. Not big on the Prowl mode and wish they had used two character for it. Regardless, excited about Botcon!

The colors actually look really good, and so does the head sculpt. Love it.

Why does this set continue to suck? I would have much rather gotten another 2005 set of random characters that this throwback to G2. The more I see of these toys the less I want to go to Botcon. Swiftly becoming PASS!

wow...that is BRIGHT! .. looks cool :thumbs2: . I just wish they picked another G2 or a Euro G1 character.

This is the 3rd incarnation of G2 Breakdown @ Botcon, even though he looks cool, I'm somewhat tired of this character. Seems like a member of the "Botcon Committee" loooooooves this character.

Pretty much loving it. The block-style head IS a little weird on the mold but the kookiness is damned charming.

Somehow I'll end up with them but it's going to be very hard to swallow laying down the cash for exclusives that I don't particularly like. If you go to the show on the attendee only package w/o the toys do you get all the same access like the primus package?

General observation, but correct me if I'm wrong. Most of the younger TF fans don't like these G2-esque coloured toys while most of the older fans who were into TF's during G1/G2 do?

The horrible colours are what make it work, imo.
