so indeed was him in Decepticon Air! looks cool, wonder bout his alt mode coz he's not a plane obwiously
well going by his autobot symbol he is not a member of the elite guard, i wonder what his alt mode is, can't be a plane since the only autobots that fly are the twins
I like how he isn't an aircraft but still retains the Powerglide look. It's like they took away something he's known for, but still make him look the way he does. I also like how it specifically points out he has no teeth. XD One thing I wonder (and will be waiting for an answer from Derrick about) is how he has 'glide' in his name if he's not a plane. The treads suggest he's a tank, or maybe just a vehicle like Ironhide.
I don't mind at all that this probably won't get a toy. Nothing much wrong with it, but it's not one of their better designs. Like other versions of Powerglide, he has very limited peripheral vision. He can hide in the background crowd scenes. Powerglide is a kind of useless name if he can't actually fly.
Theory #1 : he is a hover vehicle. Like a hover tank. No treads but he 'glides' over the surface. Theory #2: He can sorta fly as his power. He has wings and can "glide" over the ground. Just not capable of powered flight. Prowl can fly with jets, so Powerglide having something similar might not be too much of a stretch.
That's pretty cool. It's just too bad he'll more than likely never see toy form... As for what his alt-mode is, I'm going to take a guess, and say it's some kind of tank, or something that hovers.
Very cool. I guess this confirms he was in Decepticon Air. I was thinking that maybe that was Ironhide...but a Powerglide cameo is way cooler, haha.
good thinking. I actually thought of #2 myself, but the name Powerglide hardly suggests unpowered gliding. The hovercraft theory didn't even occur to me. That's not a bad idea at all.
