Unpainted face FTL  

 

Hmm, I think I will pass, for some reason it just doesn't have enough going on for me  

 

It doesnt look finished to me.

 

Unpainted face? What about the rest of the body!?  

Obviously some kind of test shot or something cobbled together from scraps.

 

If that's the way the final product is going to look(and I'm hoping its not), I'm just going to wait for the Japanese version.
It will probably have better paint apps and a painted face as well.

 

Do you think this is the finished Prototype?

 

Unpainted or not this is a must buy for me. Never having the G1 and this is just like it but much better. When will it be out?

 

Knowing Hasbro, it doesn't surprise me to see grey plastic in lieu of the silver.

And the face is probably final. A pity though.

 

I really don't think this is the finished version of this toy, but even if it is the few problems are nothing some paint won't fix  

 

annnnnnnnnnd... Looks like I'll be waiting for Henkai with this one, if they don't go with silver for the finished product.

I think it looks fine, if it is the finished product, a littl paint will take care of the weak spots, but I have to agree, I think it's just not finished

 

That's definitely a proto that hasn't been finished. We saw Hasbro's stock pic a week or so ago and it had more paint apps. Not saying it will look like the stock pic per se, but it won't be this bare bones. I'd wait to see some in package pics before slagging off Hasbro and looking for Henkei.

 

yeah, it wont look as good as the stock pic, but will look a hell of a lot better then that proto lol

probably in between the two I would say  

 

Actually the stock pics were of the prototype and this new pic is the actual product. Theres a possibility some paint aps might be gone, or changed slightly happens allot when they get these early from factories.... it's NOT a prototype.

If thats how the final figure looks i'll be a bit dissapointed and probably hold out to see what the henkei version looks like, but as said, sometimes with the really early factory samples theres small changes.

 

I'm sorry, but I think you're wrong on this being the finished piece. This honestly has qualities that SCREAM test shot. Look at the fighter mode pic, see how the purples are way different in color. Same goes for the nose cone and several other pieces that don't "match" the color scheme. It seriously looks unfinished. Just look at the brochure picture from a few days ago and you'll see the nosecone and proper paint applications, which look to include a silver painted face.
