Yeah, that was mentioned in the UK sightings thread. We're keeping a collective eye open.

    "The set retails at £29.99."

Last i recall Deluxes are around 9.99 each in the UK.

    Am i missing something?

How can this retail for 29.99 when the RRP for the individual deluxes is 9.99 each?

    EDIT: Great minds, gsd

The Movie Longarm and 70's Bumblebee 2-pack started out at £29.99 and was given a price cut to £15 for most of its shelf life.
I would assume this will follow suit.

Wow, this is the worst deal I've ever heard of. Pay ten pounds extra - that's twenty bucks, American friends - for...well, for absolutely no benefit whatsoever, actually! That box had better be made of Peter Cullen's moustache hairs, or this set will just go down as a ridiculous joke.

Better off to wait for a 'buy two get third free' offer at TRU and then you get both Bumblebee, Ratchet, and a third figure all for £20. £30 for just two deluxes is stupid.

We hope to have a picture in the next day or so once the source goes back to work. I asked if it seem to come with a DVD, and he doesnt think it does, but the images shoudl clear that up when they come in.

Not the final packaging though I assume, unless that white cardboard box Bumblebee is sat on has some point to it. Maybe it contains a £10 note to balance out the stupid £30 price.
Personally I'd rather valuable shelf space be taken up with Voyager boxes of new stuff rather than old deluxes which are just as happy carded on pegs.
