    Dang, why didn't they release the original minibots like this? They look pretty nice, but the only one I'm really interested in is Bumblebee. I wish they'd release him seperately. The cartoon accurate head is so nice (and I have never been a fan of his original toy head, regardless of accuracy).

    If anyone gets this and DOESN'T want Bumblebee, let me know :D

    Anyone noticed the nazi member with the swastika avatar? Seriously f-ed up... The minibots look very good though :) 


    Edit: I'm well aware of the fact that swastikas have different meanings in Asian countries, but this particular one is a nazi symbol. It even has German writing on it.

    No, hadn't noticed because I only look at the pretty transformers pictures :) 

    Seriously though, that is pretty messed up. It isn't just that it's German either, it says "National-sozialistiche DAP", short for "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" which is "National Socialist German Workers’ Party" which is... Nazis. (Thank you wikipedia.)

    The real irony here

    pretty nice for mini bots. Hasbro could've thrown in a mini bot with the 25th anni G1 Prime and make it a bit different from other reissues.

    Yeah, I noticed that too, and almost posted something about it earlier. I don't speak German, but that sure doesn't look like an innocent, non-Nazi-affiliated use of the swastika to my ignorant eyes.

    I am gonna give the guy the benefit of the doubt and assume that either a) it's not what it looks like or b) he means it ironically somehow. Otherwise.... WTF?

    Anyway, the minibots look great. A little paint can go a long way. Swerve and Bumblebee are the winners of the bunch. The painted face and visor on Swerve are a big improvement over the solid red of the original, and I love that Bumblebee has silver bumpers and headlights. This also, finally, gives me a chance to get a re-sculped version of Bumblebee. Though I have E-Hobby Bugbite, I've never been willing to cough up the cash for the TFC minibot set.

    Just wondering what I'll do with my vintage versions of these characters. I'll probably hold on to them just because they ARE vintage, but I think these guys will take their place on display.
