Yeeeeeesssssss! He has the open windows like I’d hoped! That’s gonna make the profile of the robot mode a bit cleaner for sure.
Somebody posted this earlier and took it down. It's supposed to be MP-58 looks like something cobbled together.
Just seems odd of Takara to mess those shoulder joints up and he doesn't seem to be quite stocky enough.
If legit then I'm all in... Though I agree the shoulders look weird and, erm, hollow? The dark bits in the pic look likely to be reused Trailbreaker parts while the lighter bits are newly moulded. Very much like Inferno/Grapple. Happy to see the actual wheels on his ankles and not silly fake ones.
I can’t decide if this is fake or not. He has no crotch which is something I thought TT would do for sure. But the shoulders are really odd and don’t look finished.
Hmm, it looks like certain parts (like his backback) are 'edited out' of the original photo and then there's the photo perspective and possible distortion; so I assume he hasn't lost as much weight as this picture suggests. Still, with Trailbreaker being more lanky than his animation model, I was hoping Hoist would be extra chubby (to even things out ).
Hmm... The top of the shoulders are hollow. Not quite liking it. Hoist was always shown with a grey windshield in the cartoon. I wonder if they'll give the MP a smoked windshield or go blue like they do for the others. I think so far, only the MP Fusos and Bumble bee 2.0 don't have blue windows.
Id imagine the shoulders being like that would be to accomodate his arms being able to fully articulate. And they couldn't carry over what t they did with TB. Do eish the matching details carried over to the upper shoulders and his shoulder joints angles matched the toon
I may be mistaken, but this looks like a photoshop. The torso looks entirely different from the head & limbs, like it's from a real photo while the limbs are "drawn" or from a cad file or something.
