Transformers Earthspark toys to be revealed in packaging and reviewed at Sydney Oz Comic-Con - Saturday September 24th.
It is at the Dome at the Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park, with a Transformers Booth promoting Earthspark, and some other licensed items... so I hope to see a fair few Australian Transformers fans there over the two days.

The booth is at A121, which is right near the entrance... and at 10am in the morning in the "Halloween Ends Theatre", there will be a live reveal of the Earthspark toys IN PACKAGING for the first time in the world.

Since I will be one of two fans helping out Hasbro at the convention, I have already been shown the packaging and toys, and have been given permission to review and post up images after the convention - but Hasbro will be having a professional filming at the convention and the presentation, so you should see something on their official Socials at some point too.

And for those in Australia who can't make it to the convention, check out the Studio 10 Morning Show (channel 10 in Australia) at about 10.50am FRIDAY (not Saturday), for a "live" cross to the Hasbro exhibit... and maybe some surprises too.

I wonder will this be a review of the toys we’ve seen already with a first look at the Earthspark line’s packaging or will we be seeing new stuff? Personally, I’d really like to see a Thrasher toy as I may get him depending on how he turns out to repurpose as G1 Fulcrum. I’m also extremely curious about any Soundwave and Arcee toys.

Very similar concept to Cyberverse with half being completely open packaging, and half being closed packaging with open windows.
Best not to say much else yet, as Hasbro has eyes everywhere.  

We are not being told what is in the future waves, just that there are 4 release dates/months for the first year/season. And those are Australian dates, so there is no point mentioning them here, as they won't apply to other countries, and are just estimates (even if I was allowed to tell).

We are only getting wave 1 toys, and probably not all of them... but these are the proper production (working) toys to show off the modes & gimmicks, as there may have been some pre-production samples at SDCC, as I think they stayed in the display case the entire time?

We only saw like 3 deluxes, right? Is the first wave only 3 deluxes or more? Perhaps deluxe Optimus?

 

Optimus is wave 2. And yes those 3 are wave 1.

 

Megatron, Twitch and Bumblebee are wave 1 Deluxe.
Optimus and Shockwave are wave 2.
And two other toys are wave 3. (names to be revealed today if we are allowed to)
There are 7 Deluxe toys to build Mandroid.

Convention opens to the public in under an hour... and the presentation panel 1 hour after that.
