Optimus Prime – Agora Models So this is coming starting January next year, a parts work kit of G1 Optimus Prime. Pricey but I can see it draw in the more creative members of our community... Plus, kinda makes you feel like you're rebuilding Prime after an epic battle.;)

What is the total price? All I see are mentions of monthly packs at differing prices. And that base that obscures the shins and feet is hideous.

The figure itself looks amazing though.

    Let's see:

Display Edition (model kit+base) 9-month plan

£399 for the first 3 packs + display base.

    Then 6 more payments of £119.99 = £719.94

    Total: £1118.94 / $1,273.44

    12-Month plan (model kit only)

    £59.99 for the first pack

    Then 11 payments of £119.99=£1319.89

    Total: £1409.88 / $1,604.56

    24-Month plan (model kit only)

    £59.99 for the first pack

    Then 23 payments of £64.99=£1494.77

    Total: £1554.76 / $1,769.44

Unless I made a mistake, my respect to anyone buying this.

Definitely not cheap, but the size and metal construction make that rather understandable. Feels of a similar vein to that Ultimetal Optimus from ages back, except you build this one which I think is more exciting personally.

Looks cool but the price and me remembering I already have a ton of G1 Primes is convincing me I should save money.

I'll look at buying it when a 3rd Party comes out with a kit to lengthen the smokestacks.

I\'m kind of not getting this new thing where model kits you have to put together yourself cost more than fully assembled items.
Doing the labor yourself is supposed to save you money.

So not only is it ugly, it's also ridiculously expensive? Awesome!

Something about the left shoulder logo feels out of place to the design for me. Too big & expensive for such a simple design. This stylized G1 OP is not particularly better/unique enough looking to me either and I have quite a few (albeit minor) issues with proportions...

This is very impressive but waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy out of my price range. And even if it wasn't, I'd have to find someone to put it together, as that would be far beyond my capabilities. No denying it's one sharp looking figure though.

The way you phrased fit my own gut response to this guy: If I’m going to drop that much money, I’m buying a real robot… or at least a Robosen. :D

This is awesome. There is a Megatron and Bumblbee in the backgroud of the picture on their site. I wish we were still getting the Toys Alliance stuff.

I would buy this because you build it over a year and its can be posed. Its like the Enterprise from Eaglemoss I guess
