Stopped by my local EBGamestop and asked about their Transformer preorders, and the cashier mentioned an "SDCC 1" pack. Afaik this hasn't been announced yet correct? I have one on order so it seems legitimate.

 

I wonder if this is indeed the Alpha Trion and Orian Pax 2-pack that was originally meant for Pulsecon but now is for SDCC?

 

What was the price?

 

Was it the usual $10 deposit, or were they able to give you a total overall cost?

 

I believe it was $109.99 CAD, I thought I wrote it down in my notes but I must have forgotten to save it.

No deposit necessary, tho that might be an Onyx perk.

 

Thats about $77 USD, the price of a deluxe and voyager with some extra parts and remolding. (Remember that Ravage was $55.)

So yeah, I’d say that has to be Orion Pax and Alpha Trion.

 

Which, obviously, isn't evidence of anything since prices can fluctuate outside the conversion rate. But it's a good starting point for budgeting reasons.

It's admittedly been a long time since I pre-ordered anything from Gamestop so it's also possible the policy changed.

 

Does this imply the existence of an tra gen sdcc 2?

 

IIRC Ravage had “SDCC 1” on his instructions, but I don’t think we ever got a 2.

 

Was there any pics of those or from what moulds those would be retooled/repainted? Or was it just leaked info?

 

Just info, though it’s been speculated that Alpha Trion would be retooled from SS86 Scourge, because thats really the most obvious option.

 

Just info. Basically, trion would be a retool from SS86 Scourge and Pax would be a retool from SS86 Kup. Also, I think he would have come with Vector Sigma.

 

sounds like Orion Pax/A3 alright. Hopefully it'll be available on Pulse or something

 

SS86 Scourge for Alpha Trion and SS86 Kup for Orion Pax is the info that the leaker shared

 

If it's anything like ravage, they will be available on pulse for a long time LOL

 

Sadly that won't happen with this set.  

 

There's no telling. Depends on how much they produce and if it'll get subsequent production runs beyond the initial one.

 

And that it's more of a G1 piece than a BW's piece.

 

It will still be available on Pulse.

Hasbro has been putting in more effort to make exclusives easier to get. This set is obviously going to be available at Gamestop in Canada, and Ravage could be purchased more easily in Asia.

Not to mention the previous exclusive, The Pit of Judgement, recieved three re-stocks.

So to those that want this set, you’ll have a chance to get it. It might be harder, but it won’t instantly sell out forever and be gone.

 

Will this product be available on Hasbro Pulse? Because I could never get my hands on Comic Con exclusive figures
