Last I remember Camero Bee was a miscommunication and that turned out to be an MPM-07 reissue. So Blackout right now seems to be the most likely.
Someone just offered the weijang blackout. But if this could be nlackout, I'm gonna hold off to see what this is. An mpm blackout should be insane!
While MPM =/= MP, you are of course absolutely right. It’s only a matter of time before TT announces a new entry in the main MP line. Although for now their focus seems to be MPG in celebration of the Headmasters 25th anniversary. It’s great that we’re finally getting the long awaited official announcement of MPM Blackout. I love how Hasbro Asia gets to reveal the MPMs every year. These things must be popular in China. Can’t wait to see in what way the paint apps will be lacking this time around
With the exception of the first two, MPM is a Hasbro (Asia) led series. TakaraTomy has little to do with it.
I mean, TakaraTomy is just as involved with MPM as they are with the mainline stuff. Their designers are responsible for the engineering, and work closely together with the Hasbro team to make these figures a reality. But you’re right in that it’s Hasbro spearheading the line, as opposed to the regular MP line which is of course a TT only venture.
Yep, MP and MPM line are two different and separate lines (totally different matters is MP and MPG, with the latter a spinoff for combiner and giant robot of the first one). But they share the "masterpiece" engineering (and pricepoint, sort of), and there is some kind of synchronization between Hasbro and Takara, regarding the product announcement. On top of that, engineering is totally handled by takara. While the two lines are apple and oranges, MPM takes a MP(G) slot in tems of announcement and preroders.
At the end of the day, I’m just glad MP something is coming out with anything. That’s all that matters to me
