Watched this about a week ago, thanks to the legend that uploaded it early.

Characters: It was amazing to see all the past characters (Even if it was background role like Hammerbyte). The Repugnus moments were gold! So glad they added a nod to Shockwave near the end! 

Tarns reveal was so great! They managed to make him look innocent to people unaware of who Tarn really was until the big reveal! The saddest part of Soundwave\'s death had to be Laserbeak\'s reaction, and that he was the last of the big four Decepticons (Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Soundwave) still alive. 

Plot: It\'s nice. Nothing jaw-dropping until the end, but there were some \"Gasp!\" moments sprinkled throughout (Such as Astrotrain\'s scenes). It really fits with what Cyberverse is, a fun show that doesn\'t have to prove to you how \"deep\" or \"edgy\" it is each episode. 

The longer runtime really helped the plot, so it wasn\'t as rushed as the whole Megatron X thing, which is still good for what it is. 

Problems: 

My issues are 1. The Optimus and Bumblebee talk at the end. I feel like this should\'ve been at the beginning, so the rest of the special forced Optimus to be a Prime one last time, and 2. The Mercs not appearing again. I would\'ve given anything to see Bug-Bite and Soundblaster again. 

 

A sad day to say goodbye to this series. It's really now probably my second favourite TF show after Animated. But finally a show which has a truly happy ending with Optimus NOT dying again, and Cybertron in a lasting peace between Autobot and Decepticon. Sad that some did not survive to be there for it.
Tarn was a curious sort, still wonder why he has not repaired that arm even at the end. I liked how Optimus even points out the very thing he does, enslaving his fellows to his whims, is the same thing Megatron rebelled against and started the Decepticon movement to stop.
Still feel it is unfortunate we could not get a better ending for Megatron, I feel he should have stuck around after seeing the greater evil in Megatron X and perhaps exiled himself to atone.
Glad to see that while it took us this long, Rack'n'Ruin finally was shown dual-wielding hammers.   Also, everyone got their time to shine, even Jetfire and Cosmos, and good that Shadow Striker and Thunderhowl got more to do, as they had little roles in season 3.

Also, loved when the generic bots and cons were guessing who the new invaders would be - someone even said Starscream's ghost, LOL.

One of my favorite parts is when prime goes \" TARN! This is like, really bad!\" And then tarn goes \"  Yup. Anyways, kick his ass.\"

 

I saw it on youtube like 3 or 4 weeks a go. It was ok. I Hope the Bug Bite we saw in the first part gets a toy. May be the next cartoon series will have a 22min run time again?

 

I think I liked the previous ep. better with the Mercs and Trypticon, but this wasn't too bad as finales go.

So it is finally really over? On to the next Transformers show?

 

This was pretty good as someone who has only watched like one episode of the show. I’m sure I’ll give it more of a go one day. It’s great to see a peaceful ending and a lasting peace.

Tarn himself, I was actually super pleased that

he turned out to be a villain after all. I was really annoyed when it looked like he was going to be good.

I won’t act like the original Tarn was perfect, he had his flaws as did the rest of the DJD, but this portrayal is decent enough in comparison to the original. Not super deep, but he’s okay. His voice isn’t too bad for the first voiced Tarn, but I’ve always heard Tim Curry as Tarn (and Keith David was Alex Milne’s pick), so I was fine with it.

 

I do wish we had gotten Rodimus Prime. The whole thing felt like it was setting up Optimus handing the Matrix down. Other than that I thought it was great.

 

I liked it. It was good. I appreciated that they kept Tarn as mostly a raving Megatron fanboy.

Funny how every time the fate of Cybertron is at stake and a sacrifice is necessary, it's a Decepticon who makes it.

It felt a bit flat and convenient even at times, but it was largely entertaining. At this point, Legacy better be including a Tarn figure.

Except that time Cheetor gave his spark to revive the Allspark after Shockwave killed it. Or the time Windblade split her spark into pieces to free Croaton from the Quintessons.

it wasn't an official release, someone recorded the Teletoon broadcast and put it up as soon as it aired in Canada.

But I am REALLY going to miss this show. The finale was perfect, and this show is going down as one of my top TF shows, maybe #2 after BW. It's just so much fun, has so much character, has weight and gravity to situations when it needs to. I don't think there's a single bad episode, even season one is awesome on rewatch. I'm surprised at how great the whole show turned out to be. This version of Windblade is one of my favorite characters in general now. Round of applause for the whole production team. Well done.

Laserbeak started to cry.

And for a while after that.

And then I woke up at 4 AM and cried again.

Fortunately that was 2 weeks ago. It was very well written. But oh, my spark.

My spark belongs to the true Perfect Decepticon.

At the end of IDW1, Soundwave also gave his life to stop Unicron, instead of Optimus like usual. But then IDW1 OP is a ginormous bag of dicks and IDW1 Soundwave is made of love.
