Thought I'd go ahead and make this thread as a place of appreciation for the newly-revealed Haslab project, separate from the more crowdfund campaign-related thread over in the "News" subforum.

Let's give Star Saber some love!

 

Man I cant Express how hyped I am that were finally getting a generations Star Saber. I remember looking through TF Victory in 2017 after checking out combiner wars Liokaiser and seeing how cool that show was. I hope that if star saber is a success we get Deathsaurus, Road Caesar, Galaxy shuttle and so on in future lines.

 

i hope im able to gain a star saber, he is a childhood dream for me

Man I really gotta back him as soon as I can. He looks beautiful in his proper colors.

I backed it, don't know much about Star Saber other then I thought he was cool looking in Earth Wars iOS game.

Really hope we get at least Tier 1. Tier 2 needs to be Leo’s tail whip and Starsabers shield to double as a flight stand like the MP. Tier 3 must be something special if they want 20,000.

What’s the likelyhood of this getting backed to 20,000? How long did it take for Unicron to crawl through the tiers, I’ve heard Galactus took a while?

 

I know some people don't like how Gundam-y he looks but that's like 80% of why I like him lol, that digibash looks fantastic. I hope I'm able to sell enough of my older figures I'd been waiting to list in time for the deadline.

 

I don't much about Victory but does anyone have any idea on how big these characters would be compared to other g1 characters?

 

Wheeljack and Perceptor showed up in an episode and they were the same size as the other three Brain Masters in the front.

I mean he was literally designed by the guy who designed the original Gundam.

 

As a veteran collector who has no attachment to Victory but has heard the passionate please for acknowledgement for over 20 years, I am very happy that Hasbro is finally giving you something, and I sincerely hope you are happy with the final result.

 

I always thought Star Saber was combiner size due to Zone. We see Dai Atlas fight the other Decepticon combiners and he was the same size as them. Dai Atlas was the same size as Star Saber. Though Trypticon was also the size of a regular combiner, and not a Titan size base so.... Not sure if Zone is really the best source.
