With as barren as most Target shelves have been the last three months or so I don’t see these sticking around. This is probably going to be a ‘you’re there at opening the day these get put out or you’re not getting it at retail’ like Sky Lynx was.

 

Still waiting to get my hands on POTP Rodimus!

 

Where are you from? For me, Sky Lynx was available at a decent bit of targets for a LONG time. So much so, that you could get them for 25% off when Target would roll out that deal before Christmas.

 

I've been to over 5 different targets around me and saw Sky Lynx once and bought him on sight. Unless your area doesn't have a collectors community, I think it's a safe bet that Rodimus will not be ordered in bulk. It's rare to find toys that are in demand, let alone sales on those same toys.

 

Only saw Sky Lynx at retail once. Scorponok the same thing. Maybe with luck I’ll come across Rodimus once and just cop on sight. Yea the days of waiting for sales might be over

 

More importantly, where are you?

Your experience is certainly the exception to the rule from comments that I’ve seen. I want to move to this Utopia.  

 

Out Idaho way they hit one of the three Targets and they got two. I bought one, the other was gone by the next morning. No restock.

 

I'm in GA and I used to travel throughout the state for work. I remember I visited about 10 different Targets when Sky Lynx was out and I only saw him once in a store an hour from my house.

 

Surprisingly, South Florida. There’s a ton of scalpers here, with leaders usually not staying on shelves for too long. Sky Lynx and the movie masterpiece guys were in stock for a while here. For what it’s worth, though, I never once saw ER Scorponok.

 

Before you say anything, I’m giving you the exact same answer I give everyone who asks me why I prefer POTP Rodimus over Kingdom: HE FITS MY SENSE OF SCALE!

And not only is he bigger, he’s half the price of Kingdom Rodimus too

 

But he’s terrible. You may want to like him, but he is not going to like you.

Central Florida has tons of scalpers, too. It Sucks. You can literally see that the "popular figures" have been picked out.
My rule is, IF I actually see something I want, I grab it, because It will NEVER be there again.

 

I don't recall seeing Sky Lynx in Target very often, if at all. Meijer, on the other hand... Sky Lynx got dusty there for a while. Hopefully Rodimus will be the same.

 

There were a few sky lynxs where I am so I don't see an issue about rodimus being scarce.

Having said that I did preorder him from a specialist score and I don't live in the states either.
