I’m wishing that he’d have tried putting the coronation pieces on ER Screamer to see if it fit.

 

We’re getting a Coronation Starscream in SS86 next year, so if you want the armor pieces and a transforming figure, I suggest you wait for that. (It also comes with a throne.)

 

I wasn't impressed by the renders but this looks a lot cooler in hand.

Yeah... and the joy of re-purchasing the same figure I already have that comes with it.

 

Hey look, the same size as ss 86 screamer will be, with a coronation set, and at $30 less.

 

Like ... what's the fascination with making RED figures with removable chests now? I think Cheetor has it, I know Arcee has it, and now Starscream. It's kinda weird.

Eh, I'll may get this in Thundercracker colors, or one of the side guys (like Acid Storm, Hotlink, etc.). But probably not Starscream.

 

The way he's been titling and advertising his recent videos kinda pisses me off. Almost like he's veering into clickbait territory, with lots of "ALL-CAPS" and "?!?!?!" in his titles, as well as the flashy thumbnails.

It's like he's trying to farm as many views as possible of his reviews of stolen merchandise. His content reeks of inauthenticity.

 

Not to divert from the topic at hand but I do wonder if Redeco Optimus Prime or Prime Knockout will be included in this wave as well, but odds are probably not. In any case this looks nice and has good accessories.

 

They're showing boxed product shots and it's getting reviewed and we still don't have a pre-order?

Anyway, looks good and I'm eager to get it. The only thing I'm not loving about the red figures is the dull finish - everything else is great (well, the articulation choose be a little better and the mid-thigh cuts suck). I especially like that the cape attaches to the pauldrons and goes in front of the wings - drives me crazy when they get that wrong.

 

Not product I am interested in, but it's nice to see some more sculpted detail here compared to the first G1 releases – lack of gold paint on the shoulder armor's a bit disappointing.

On topic, this is a killer Starscream. Actually surprised the cape is cloth instead of plastic.

 

I'm really reaaaaally surprised of how good this figure looks compared to the renders and other pics we saw before. Here he looks to be the best RED figure so far. Wave 1 figures and Cheetor look really terrible. I have Arcee and while it looks good, its a so so figure. This Starscream looks a lot better.

 

Speaking of the SS86 Corona screamer is it confirmed to be ER mold?

 

The head and face look meh. That can be changed though.
