There’s a new entry though for a Tra Classic Deluxe Mirage for $77 AUD. Which is the same price as Earth Sideswipe and Nightprowler 2 pack

Since the main listing is locked I can’t pull the product number for it.

Odds are though this is the rumored Amazon Exclusive Earth mode Mirage and BWII Skywarp 2 pack @wreckgar39 shared with us.

BW2 Skywarp had a weird headsculpt. 

 

Please Hasbro....no translucent parts on this Mirage ok?

Cool for a Mirage figure that doesn't break so easily.

Not so cool for a BW2 Skywarp that doesn't combine into Magnaboss (despite that the Airazor mould is pretty good).

 

Hope this looks good - the Siege mold had a really solid robot mode, but like so much of Siege the alt mode was so janky I couldn't do it.

 

We're there reports of breakage?

Deluxe Mirage for that price?

 

Apparently is the 2 pack that leakers mentioned time ago, Mirage and BW2 Skywarp from Airazor. Or just has the wrong price tag.

 

2 deluxes (Deluxe + Voyager?) at that price in Aussie dollars.

Yeah, if his legs are actually solid plastic, it will be worth upgrading from the Siege version.

Given the standard though, I imagine it will be the exact same figure with the "solid" parts of the canopy just painted with the regular, English labels on the car parts.

 

Glad to know this pack didn't get killed off.

So if it's still being Mirage and Skywarp, that makes sense. Skywarp's gonna be an Airazor retool, so that'd equate to a Deluxe.

Parts of him are cast in translucent plastic. I did one transformation from robot to car and back again, and part of his left leg got a pratty bad stress mark (the blue part that faces towards the inside). It hasn't broken yet, but I'm staying cautious.

 

Interesting they're using the term "Classic" here. Have we seen that in any other preliminary listings lately? Because it would be really funny if this "new Earth-mode Mirage" actually turns out to be a reissue of the 2006 mold. Not that I'd personally mind since that's possibly the Classics toy that's held up the best, but I know that's not what most want from this. Probably won't be, but the terminology made me raise my eyebrows for a second.

Glad that BW Grimlock's still a thing! He's among my most wanted BW characters for Selects.
