Personally, there's something more enjoyable about seeing filming on streets than everything being hidden to the public.

 

I hope this file is the one that follows the last knight.

Not much to go on, but it's cool to hear they seem to be gearing up for filming. After over two years of nothing, it seems surreal that we could get set photos and whatnot within a few months. Maybe even a trailer by the end of the year, if they follow TLK and Bumblebee's marketing approach (a trailer 6 months out).

Would this be for Bumblebee 2 ("The Transformers") or Beast Alliance? I'm honestly still confused on which is coming next. Supposedly they're being made simultaneously to some extent (or so people have said), but one has to come before the other. I can't imagine they'd release two the same summer....I would imagine there would be at least 6 months between them. For a while it sounded like Bumblebee 2 was first. We heard about a director for that one, and no director for Beast Alliance yet. Although we've heard about casting and plot for Beast Alliance, and none of that for Bumblebee 2. It all seems very confusing, I hope we get clarification on this stuff soon.

I’m pretty sure that the beast alliance movie is the bumblebee sequel. In the article it says that this movie is set in the bumblebee universe and that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a sequel, and I’m also pretty sure when the 2 scripts thing was announced they said that movie that was written by joby Harold was a movie set in that universe.

They're the same film. At least, that's what reports point to.

I don't think any report said that. There were two scripts in development, yes, but only one of them moved forward and that was the non-Beast Wars film. Not sure what's up with the title "Beast Alliance" but here are possible theories:

• It's just a temporary title to throw people off and it's a normal ensemble Transformers film
• It's a temporary title and will mostly be a regular Transformers film with 1 or 2 Beast Wars characters that will show up to slowly introduce characters for a fully Beast Wars film in the future
  
• They changed their minds last minute and it really is a full-on Beast Wars film (this is probably the least likely option as I don't see them committing to a full Beast Wars film yet)

I'm personally hoping they don't include any Beast Wars character and make this a simple ensemble Transformers film.

But the plot leak that came out a few weeks ago claimed there's a heist film starring Beast Transformers in the works. And that supposedly came from reliable sources. But everything before that (also from reliable sources) seemed to indicate that the next film is going to be a regular Transformers film.

 

The report never actually said there were Beasts involved in the film, but only that the title was "Beast Alliance". Here's the full synopsis from that report: "Transformers: Beast Alliance takes place in the Bumblebee timeline and will be set in the 1990’s. The film will have the flavor of a heist film that will span from Brooklyn to South America."

 

Ah, interesting...I never even considered that the title might not reflect the plot.

I actually really hope this is the case. I'm totally open to the idea of a Beast Wars movie, but I feel like the '90s heist film should involve automobile Transformers. That just fits the premise better. Beast Wars would be better as a lost world Skull Island kind of thing. I feel like making it a '90s heist film would do a disservice to both Beast Wars and the idea of a Transformers heist film.

 

Ill be happy AF if they finish off the Bayverse saga and show us what happened to Unicron.

Look, I liked 3/5 of the Bayverse... maybe 4/5 on a good day... but why finish off the Bayverse when the Bayverse almost finished off the movie franchise?

 

Guessing it's because they wanna see what happens after that cliffhanger, sadly.

It's kinda why cliffhangers can be rather annoying.

 

Well fans are making a sequel so that’s the only one you are gonna get,it comes out in 2023.
