Siege was underwhelming at times, but overall it was not bad. I hope Earthrise expands on the universe, and explores certain aspects of Transformers.


I also.... have this feeling there is going to be something in this that will greatly excite/surprise people. It’s just this gut feeling, but I think it will get people pumped.

 

I'm happy to see Galvatron and Megatron as seperate people and am excited to see how it plays out. That, the autobots running from the Cons to find the allspark, quints, mercs, and friggin Unicron himself means this series is gonna be packed! I just hope they do those concepts justice and stop...with...the...drawn...out...dialogue.

 

I’m pretty sure Galvatron is still Megatron, just in the past. It seemed to me that was pretty clear, what with the entire third portion of the trilogy revolving around time travel.

The trailer has a lot of lines about the future and destiny. I’m pretty sure Galvatron has just come back in time to try and create a new future, and that will backfire resulting in both teams finding themselves on prehistoric Earth.

 

I will never understand a (spoiler) review coming out before the general public can even watch a series/movie.

 

I enjoyed siege a lot in spite of the VA. The only thing that really bugged me was Netflix not casting Mr.Cullen as prime just to save money. I hope Earthrise will be good as well. This review makes me feel it will be. I also expect a good story from Earthrise.

 

Considering Rodimus is coming in Kingdom aswell I doubt he wouldn't show up also, if not in Earthrise then next season. Honestly this is all pretty cool to me as I'm someone who's not fond of G1 season 3 characters due to the absence of almost all the old cast in favor of the new guys. With both past and future mixing together I think it's a great way to warm those characters up to people like me who are iffy about them simply because them being around means certain others aren't anymore.

 

I will be watching in a foreign language with subtitles.

 

Miner Spoilers????!!!!!! Why would you give out any spoilers at all???? Come on TFW2005!!! Do better! Just because you got an early screening, doesn't give you the right to do an episode by episode "BREAKDOWN" before the season actually goes live! You know some people cannot help themselves... And just for the record I only read enough to realize that I should stop!!!!!  

 

I'm still hoping Nemesis is his own character in this series but the trailer definitely made it seem like he's nothing more than a dark vision of Optimus.

$10 says he shows up right at the end and takes everyone to the past.

Considering the whole alternate timelines theme of the show, I am fine with that. As a matter of fact, I actually much more prefer the idea of Nemesis being a very, very changed Optimus then just a clone thats evil because it was built that way.

I'll throw in my own 10 bucks that Rodimus and Galvatron show up trying to stop Unicron before whatever happens in the future, and in doing so causes some rift in time that leads to everything getting mixed up on prehistoric earth in the middle of the beast wars.

I think Nemesis has more potential being a different guy from Optimus as it opens the door for him to expand to being a servant of Unicron, or even a deranged experiment of Straxus based on earlier backstories. They could've even made a whole new backstory involving him being resurrected from sleep mode Prime in the dead universe since it was hinted that dead prime might have some appearance but having him be a one and done dark vision negates any of that potential or future appearances from happening. (I also want some of that sweet Optimus vs Nemesis action going on since the last time we saw it was Prime and imo the fight was meh)

 

I will be attentive to the last minutes of Ep. 6, since it is a fact that we will briefly see some furry friend who will make a continuation of the next season.

So it has the same exact problems as Siege with no improvements (and maybe it's even worse). Nice. Honestly, I didn't expect anything more as a lot of fans loved Siege—there's no incentive for Hasbro to try harder. Kingdom will be the exact same way.

This is very important. "I can't help myself" is not a justification. Even if this forum is full of adults who buy plastic toys, we are still adults, and we are all accountable for our choices. Nobody here ever sent a "cease and desist" letter to Hasbro because they ran out of money buying toys. One question, does Ironhide still sound like a terrible child? Or did they fix him and he sounds rough and American southern?
