Huh. I doubt the humor will be anything oriented towards long-time adult fans of the fracnhise like Choro-Q Transformers, but this still sounds pretty interesting. I love the toys so I'm excited.

They should dig out Spoony from internet reviewer retirement to do his Dr Insano voice for Dr Flaskenstein.  

The same team who did Cyberverse works on this, so no... I expect it will be actually entertaining unlike all those crappy shows CN does.

There is nothing stopping them from doing a proper TF show on the side. Remember, once Cyberverse is over Hasbro will definitely make another "mainline". We have never been without one for long.
Also you can expect this to be basically just short 5-minute funnies, like Looney Tunes or Mickey Mouse shorts.

Heretic! Let them LIIIIIVEEEE!!! I love the toyline and the art style on the boxes is great, I always wanted to see them animated. Heck, Series 6 cannot come soon enough, I am close to collecting all of S5 now.

Ever heard of shows filling NICHES, dude? This will be a comedy show. Rescue Bots is for very small kids. WFC Netflix is for the adult fans. Hasbro will no doubt will make a "real" Transformers show for the teen age category too, but for now I think Cyberverse is still getting two direct to TV movies, so likely that will happen after those have come out since for now Cyberverse is the "Main" line, like RID was and Prime before that.

I’m...a bit stunned, actually. We haven’t heard anything about Series 6 aside from the Unboxings revealed at Toy Fair, the store listing for the Caffeine Collective, and the promotional artwork that someone stumbled across on Amazon. When Series 6’s release date came and went with nothing to show for it, I was convinced that BotBots had met the same fate as the Overwatch toyline. I guess Hasbro was just taking a long hiatus with the series instead.

If there’s new toys for this show, I might buy them. (I’m buying a lot of Kingdom and Studio Series next year, so I’ll have to make room in my budget.) If there aren’t, that’s fine. I wasn’t even expecting a cartoon, so I’m happy. Best to remain cautiously optimistic about how good it’ll be, I think.

We’re getting a BotBots cartoon next year. If somebody had said that to me a few months ago, I’d have laughed in their face. What a long and strange road this year has been.

 

This show is the replacement for Cyberverse. It's in good hands. eOne wanted a Transformers comedy and BotBots fits the bill more than doing Transformers Roar or Allspark Babies or something else that would make this place melt down in tears of rage. Primus forbid you not get G1 in everything.

 

I would love for BotBots to be Transformers for an entire generation of children. This franchise is desperate for a refresh.
