Takara Tomy Mall website have just updated several new exclusives pre-orders, all of them expected for release by April 2021. All listings have a brief Order period from November 6 to December 3. As usual, we can share for you some new stock images plus some extra information about these items.

Gawd I hate Vertabreaks head ! Those stupid goggles and human looking face. At least the other bone guys looked more alien looking. 

 

Vertabreak looks great. Love the big \'ol goggles. For ten bucks the little figure looks like a ton of fun. Fossilizers ftw!  

 

Undead Slash looks cool as hell.

 

G1 figures great (although the lack of emblems on Thrust isn\'t great), but the fossilizer is an easy pass.

 

Man, Thrust sure sold out quick on TfSource.  

 

He's got them. Trouble is, without the white borders, the purple make it almost invisible.

Agreed! Same with the Siege Seekers and Barricades crest, the purple makes it (his crest for instance) looks uncolored despite being colored.

The sigils are stamped on the black part of the wings. Check 'em out in the 6th image(with his robot back facing the camera) on the black part of the wings.

 

I know Vertebreak probably just stands up, but I'm really hoping this line gives us some transformations as interesting as BW (especially fuzors and TM2)

 

I didn’t know Runamuck was going to get a pinstripe. Kinda makes him look less like a stretched Fiero and more like a Grand National or Monte Carlo Aerocoupe

 

Methinks Takara knows how few TF collectors are interested in these bone-formers in Japan, hence why they are making them exclusives... Would not be surprised if the other fossilizers would be exclusives too. I mean if these things were popular in Japan then Dinozone aka Dinozaurs would still be around today, and would not have most of the line consist of repaints...  

Btw these actual toy pics do prove that Thrust will have a yellow/orange cockpit canopy after all.
The silver face still bothers me a bit on Runabout, but I guess you gotta break up the monotonity.
And I still wonder, surely those guns must have been gang-molded. So why didn't Runamuck also come with 2 guns?

 

im still wondering how or even IF Vertebreak works with the Fossilizer/Modulator/Weaponiser gimmick.

 

Vertebreak doesn’t work with the 5mm gimmick. He doesn’t break apart and he doesn’t turn into a weapon. He’s an original character who also happens to be a skeletal creature, but he transforms like anyone else.

 

Takara stock photos always use very early samples and have frequently had inaccurate colors (and even tooling).

 

Sadly because TFsource is scalping off Target, where TFsource also sells their stuff at stupidly marked-up prices.Should call the website TFscalersourced.

 

Where do you get this from? They cannot sell US exclusives from other stores, period (with some uncommon exceptions like old stock from warehouse clearance sales).

They get Asian and/or Japanese market versions, which are more expensive for the same exact figure, and add on their profit margin. That’s the only way they can get around restrictions for newer releases.

 

Walmart Exclusive figures, not even Hasbro pulse listed them TFsource had them. Hasbro Seacons where a Hasbro pulse exclusive BBTS had listed them but got denied when Hasbro changed their minds to Hasbro Pulse exclusive yet TFsource had a ton in stock with prices that kept going up. Target Exclusives only at Target same day the only other place to list any is TFsource, not even ebay had any preorder listings up. SO please tell me how only TFsource has any of these in stock and at such low low prices of nearly double retail and nobody else has them up not even Hasbro Pulse. Ya ER Cliffjumper is caught in the mix so exclude him.
Now that whole well it's Takara Tomy versions and it cost more to import except these listings went up before any Takara tomy Listings just went up heck the 2 pack seekers was just announced along with Thrust yet the shipping date on Thrust here is the US shipping date not the TT shipping date.

 

Again, they get Asian and/or Japanese stock. There are toy stores and suppliers outside the US, believe it or not. That's how various sites get around exclusive agreements. TFSource does it, chosen prime, toyarena, etc... If you browse Asian storefronts, then you'll see the same figures too. If you think only TFsource does it, then you're not paying attention to other toy sellers.

Release dates are fickle and not to be relied on. Asian version releases are way before the Japanese market release and even the US market. I already have wave 2 Netflix figures by going through an Asian storefront, as example, and not TFSource. Chosen prime sold some wave 2 figures early too.

As far as I'm aware, BBTS still has their Seacon pre-orders but pre-sold out for 1-21 release.
