Huh. I thought Action Man was just the rebranded name of the toyline. We in Europe still got the same GI Joe cartoon as you in America. And reviving it... would be confusing, since there has been a whole Action Man franchise since then, with those large sized figures where some super-agent figths a mad cyborg scientist. It even had its own cartoon.

    "Fan oriented"
Meh. Oriented to some fans at least.
I won't be happy until they ditch this whole Allspark bs and go back to a story about Transformers having a good ole fashioned civil war.
Also get the original voice cast back, amateur hour is over.

I think he's talking about the latter. Action Man brand name was used twice by Hasbro in Europe. Once for the rebranded 12 inch "dolls", and second time for the whole new concept of James Bond type action hero against the mad scientist Dr. X.

Then there's the actual 80s G.I. Joe European rebrand Action Force, while Asia got G.I. Joe: International Hero instead of A Real American Hero.

So MASK and Visionaries are gonna make a comeback. I'm guessing by the end of next year.

I wonder if earthrise and kingdom would be released in the same year on 2021?

Surprised they still even have confidence in Action Man and MASK. That's a good thing.

Action Man and popular in one sentence!

No Hasbro, they were not popular at all. I remember standing in front of Action Man figures in "Müller"-store when I was a young boy and without anyone telling me any "boy doll bias" I was like: "Yuck, that's too Barbie for my taste"

    Good luck with that Hasbro....

MASK were basically all Tracks without robot modes. I know I found them interesting but taking a closer look I realized "what? That's it? No robot mode? Just some flip out stuff on an otherwise rather bland looking vehicle? No thanks"

Quite the toy critic 5 year I was. I wouldn't touch anything not worth the money. So it was mostly Beast Wars and Lego. I tried a few star wars figures but was always quickly dissatisfied with the lacking articulation

Someone once said "No matter how obscure the property, Hasbro will never give up on it if one fan still remembers". :)

I only made it through half of season 1. I may eventually get further. It's completely devoid of humor, and not nearly good enough to work as a totally serious project. It's not awful, but a number of TF projects in the last decade or so have been much stronger.

To be clear, I don't NEED humor, but if you aren't just knocking it out of the park, fun characters go a long way towards making something watchable.

Hopefully this means an increased effort and budget for animated Transformers projects. Though it doesn't seem to be mentioned, I hope this means video games too.

So does Hasbro have any known plans for what comes after the WFC trilogy? My best guess would be a trilogy of seasons for the next line of figures but that doesn't cover whatever is gonna replace Cyberverse.

I am ready for Micronaughts and Mask to finally make their comeback, though those designs look like shit. Acryoyear is the only one who looks half-decent.

All in on MASK. Id like them to do toys based on the Revolution and IDW series models cause they were sick! Also opens up cross play between lines.

I just think it's funny that Action Man wasn't a member of Action Force!

Not surprising, considering toy sales went up by 60% 24 hours after the show came out.

M.A.S.K. was pretty new when I was a kid in the 80s. Am I missing something?

If that's a Goldner comment, I think I'll hold off on any enthusiasm until I see what the new version looks like.

Personally, I would love to see a return of the M.A.S.K. toyline, the vehicles more than the action figures (unless they're driver/pilots). I'd prefer smaller scale vehicles, though (easier on shelf space). Modern design advances should make that possible - though modern cost-cutting may leave the end result disappointing.

I see they've got plans for Visionaires, too. Give me good figures of those guys.

Since when was mask a 70's property. :s

Also they've been talking about doing something with mask for years now and all we've had is a gi joe crossover figure and a short lived comic from idw so I'm not getting my hopes up again just yet.
