I knew #25 would bring the war, but based on one of the covers, it looks like Orion Pax is also going to be Optimus Prime as well. I wonder if there will be a time jump between issue #24 and #25?
How much you wanna bet there won't be a single War world in this "War World" story. Still boring. And no it's not boring cuz there's no real action going on, it's boring because the dialogue is dry and predictable, the artwork is lazy and incredibly amateurish and the story isn't really doing anything we haven't seen done before but done better.
So, I guess this means that Galaxies is gonna be discontinued after issue 12. Well that sucks. Granted the title could always be resurrected some time latter, or a new side series could take its place, but I still don't like it being stopped. Especially since I really like anthology series like Galaxies. Not only are they good for telling stories which, if told in the main ongoing title, would take time away from the central story; but they're also great for spotlighting side characters. Both Transformers Galaxies and the imprint from the old Archie-Sonic comics, Sonic Universe, where great for this kind of thing and had good stories. So yeah, I really don't like that Galaxies is over. Though, on the plus side, it looks like the Autobot/Decepticon war is finally gonna start.
I haven't bought a single issue of this new IDW ongoing series but did keep an eye on the previews with the possibility of maybe buying the TBP Vol. by Vol. But after seeing Windblade once again best a Warrior that should be a Ultra-Magnus leveled threat (Maybe a 8.5/10 to UM's 9/10) just made me give up. If she's subduing Cyc while in other novel's Cliffjumper is besting characters like "DEATHSAURUS"! Then these current writers clearly don't know what the hell real threats should be. Most people continue to talk about how boring this is anyway. But maybe I'll check out the TF-Wiki Overviews of each issue when I'm bored enough.
Well, I mean, so far ever since Windblade woke up not much has been going her way. The first time she fought Sixshot she exploded, and now the second time it hasn't been doing her any good either, and she didn't "best" Cyclonus, she just landed on him while he was trying to leave. Plus the action and pacing have been increasing in the latest issues, and with what just happened to Quake, I wouldn't say it's boring anymore.
I honestly thought that it was Shockwave\'s face in the RI cover but when I zoomed in I realised it was actually Megatron\'s chest with the Decepticon emblem.

Im buying the figure but I hate these dumb crossover stories. I already got the perfect fiction planned out in my head cannon: Marty uses the Delorean to go back and tell himself the winning lottery numbers. He ends up getting extorted by the mafia and whacked for snitching. Doc makes a decision to never use the Delorean again and locks it in a barn. Doc passes away. A lone Autobot from Cybertron seeking Prime crash lands next to the barn and investigates and stumbles upon the lost time machine. He scans the Delorean (and its powers) and Gigawatt is born. There you have it. The Delorean has been merged into TF Fiction without adding 2 more annoying human characters into the mix. Youre welcome.
Putting that on the toys bio would certainly suffice. But bare in mind, there actually are a lot of people on these forums who cannot hold onto their money. They just need to get rid of it
How How about this. Gigawatt was an adventurer/researcher scouring the cosmos trying to find the solutions to the origins of civilization. “Where we are, where we’re going...” etc. He traveled and cataloged worlds and civilizations trying to piece the fabric of history and how we all came to be. Till one faithful day in 1937 when exploring a mine system in California Gigawatt discovered a new kind of vehicle. One that clearly wasn’t from this time era. He scanned the delorean as his new alternative form and gains the abilities of time travel. Gigawatts adventures are about to get a whole lot bigger... Vs killing Marty and doc. Use the times when the delorean is unoccupied. Like when it’s behind the billboard for much of the first movie. Or buried waiting in a mineshaft via Back to the Future: part 3

Thats a good storyline too. But surely you dont see the beauty of killing off Doc and Marty from the getgo instead of creating an annoying storyline around them ? Arent there enough annoying humans in Transformers fiction ? Whos gonna get a starring role next ? Flo the insurance lady with the name your price tool thats a real gun ? Im just trying to save the franchise some unneeded stupidity.
i know im going to get flack for this comment. but i like to see humans in transformers to interact with them i feel make them more human granted there robots and all. but some times i feel like they make the humans save the day way to much when its sopose to be the autobots.
Humans are ok. Annoying characters from other fictions are not ok in my opinion though. Hasbro can homage the Delorean without acknowledging these two dips**ts I believe. Honestly, yes. Im a car guy. And im also an 80s guy so it has nothing to do with lack of exposure. They werent bad films. But I never viewed it as a "cult following" type of film worthy of having a toyline, comic, or rabid fans. Lers be real, its not Ghostbusters. Ok since you guys love Doc so much, I propose an idea: How about Doc becomes twisted after one of his time travel adventures and he comes back as Dr. Arkeville ? And Gigawatt can be a Decepticon. I mean the two even look the same, it would work way better !

Well it hasnt been done in Transformers. Gigawatt would make an awesome Decepticon. He could turn on Marty and impale him with that lightning rod accessory as Doc looks on and laughs wickedly. Damn I need to write comics lol
