115-Utopia Weibo 1 x Windmill 2 x missile accessories Inspired by Ironworks brief scene in Transformers Zone OVA
I find 115 Utopia 3d print quality to be on par with Matrix Workshop and Shockwave Labs i.e. middle of the pack (ZX studio being better and GX / Go Better Studio being absolute best looking like injection molding). I have the 115 GUOP kit, which turned out pretty well outside of some minor peg/port issues (the feet covers were garbage, though). This may seem tempting if adding on to another order.
Now I have no idea which one to buy. Im generally a cartoon accuracy guy, so this one makes sense. The toy accurate missile by Shockwaves Lab looks like something out of a Road Runner cartoon, but then again a windmill was kind of corny to begin with lol.
Ironworks was in Zone? I haven't seen Zone in over a decade and I thought the character was completely new for Earthrise.
I accidentally have two also. I was so excited I was able to get my third Scrapface for my camera sets and that Ironworks box on the large Walmart display was so purdy and prissteeen . Came home, yep already had one, but I may end up keeping both 'cause. The only 3rd party upgrade I purchased was for netflix ultra mags at this point. Most are just too expensive and don't meet my collection goals (which I have found saves me a lot of money). Ultra Mags I saw as a good additional value in the toy, the others are just not important enough to add on for me. OK, I did purchase all those extra cassettes for SEIGE soundwave/soundblaster, but come-on--they are awesome. Neeaaarrrr pfffpfffpfffpfff... (hover noise)
I personally like the look of the Shockwave's Lab kit over this one. The robot-mode for Ironworks was new for Earthrise, but the Micromaster base he was based on appeared in Zone apparently.
I think if anyone ever makes a kit to improve the fan vehicle mode a bit - the windmind might be able to be redesigned to function as a claw too.
Pretty damn sure for the price these things are going for, I can build up my own mill from scratch. And most assuredly Ill have a missile from my vintage joes that I could replicate that fits the bill...if those were pvc at least and not 3d prints, id bite.
