I suppose that's a sufficiently good confirmation that ER is planned as 4 waves

So does anyone want to try and figure out how many figures are left by guesstimating the known figures on the map? Looks like deluxes take three hexathings, voyagers take 4 and leaders take 6. I think micromasters teams and battle Masters take a third.

You know you could’ve just added this to the first Earthrise Map thread.

Okay, using the hexagon as a unit, I think I count 95 1/3 units unmarked. A deluxe uses 3 units, a voyager uses 4 units, a leader uses 6 units, and -masters use 1/3 of a unit.

Someone else can grab the confirmed and rumored lists (I assume the Selects will count, and no idea how to deal with various battle packs) and start doing the math

ETA: Counting error 1: there are only 8 1/3 in the far right column

I'd personally wouldn't count Selects. Mostly on the fact that they never did anything with the packaging yet. Not sure on the battle packs, tho…. Thanks, btw

Here's my math. There appear to be 98 hexagons excluding wave 1. Then, taking away the hexagons for the revealed figures from wave 2 and 3, we are left with 29 and a 1/3 including Scorponok and the Target two-packs. If we assume that Scorponok has 10, since that's how it goes from voyager to leader and from leader to commander, and we also assume that the seekers and clones have 6 and 4 respectively that will leave us with 9 and a 1/3.we then will have to take away one 1/3 from the listing of the battle patrol reissue, as well as 4 from thrust, that will leave us with 5. this probably can't be divided correctly so let's not count the two-packs and we are left with 15. So that makes 15 for the rest of wave 3/4.

Well each battlemaster and micromaster set have a piece too so that could make up the smaller pieces.

Its good 4 waves are confirmed at least but so was Siege until it exceeded expectations and threw in a 5th but I think they have learned their lesson from that.

We have seen some of wave 3 im almost certain not all of it has seeped through. Just hope wave 4 isnt overly repaint heavy.

Any predictions for how they\'ll release the rest of the Coneheads then? I\'m thinking a two pack exclusive to Amazon or something.

Ugh, does anyone have an Astrotrain map piece they don't need? I really don't want to buy him again for a piece of cardboard...

I think they are just going to release more per wave, I've been looking at tfwiki and if hasbro/takara show four new deluxe classes, two new voyager classes, one leader class, five more micromaster patrols and four more battle masters, we will get the same amount transformers as in siege, not including exclusives and generations selects.

Slightly bummed that we’re only going to see 4 waves. I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen so far, and I hope that a voyager Inferno is in the making

$50 for a piece of cardboard...just wait for someone to finish it on the boards and get a print of it if it’s that much of necessity to you.

That’s pretty standard and it’s not like there isn’t a third part coming

the end of siege was the actual first wave of Earthrise so it just depends what they wanna do by the end.

Hmm, I think that @Sol Fury stole some of my math for the hexagons.
EDIT: and just now I noticed he messed a bit of it up. It is 29 and a 1/3 WITH Sky Lynx as his map piece has been revealed on the original Earthrise map thread.

This is sad news, but Earthrise was always going to come to an end. I hope we'll still get an Inferno, but so far we've gotten lots of amazing toys in stores and revealed from siege's more satisfying successor.
I really really really hope Hasbro will continue the super-accurate aesthetic and clean no-battle damage look of Earthrise, but as usual, the next part of the trilogy will no doubt have an entirely new philosophy to it :(
Hopefully, it will be as great as Earthrise is.

Thing is... I’m more interested in Selects figures. My collecting habits now are limited BUT I can make exceptions.

    Prime
    Megatron
    Ratchet
    Jazz
    Bee
    Grimlock
    Starscream

    Combiners
    Seekers
    *masters
    Obscure characters

obscure is where selects (and exclusives) is at for me.
