Didn't Kids Logic try something like this a few yrs ago. Their stuff was good, but fizzled out. I think it was the price.

Just checked out the TLK ones and they were terribly painted. Not sure what's up with Jada half-assing everything. Remember that hilarious extra thick front-end on their Camaro (see below)? I'm not expecting much.

Yup and these even look like they are using the kids logic moulds or at least borrowing from them.

The kids logic stuff was fantastic. They were a bit expensive though. By the time they realised that and released smaller less articulated cheaper versions I think people were burnt...

... that and the whole "does not transform" crowd.

These are awesome. I actually love non-transferable figures. And these are the best $10ish paper weights money can buy. \\ (•◡•) /

    I'll be getting them.

Hopefully they'll do more than the usual 5 characters. Or if not, a different set of characters.

Or maybe if we're lucky, we'll get the Kids Logic Shockwave that never got released:

One of my biggest collecting regrets is not picking up Kid's Logic Ultra Magnus when he was being clearanced from places.

If anyone has one collecting dust they don't want, feel free to let this nerd know.... :)

Different niches for different itches homie. Me personally, I get a kick out of these. Would really like some transforming chibi style characters like hero hobby did with Ultra Magnus and Grimlock years ago. I still have the Ultra Magnus kicking around. City Captain I think they called him.

Not sure if these will do well, what happened to the Kids Logic stuff, then HeroCross had a few Optimus figures, both those lines are gone now. Kids Logic stuff was pretty cool, but kinda overpriced. Perhaps, these guys will have better prices. Not sure what more u can do with this kind of figure that Kid Logic hasn't done yet. Their stuff had lights and decent articulation. Bait even copied the Kids Logic designs. We will see I guess. I liked the Kids Logic stuff. We needs lots of pointless stuff, look at all the Marvel,Star Wars, DC stuff. If this fails, they will move onto something else and it might be a hit with customers

If these are more affordable than the Kids Logic figures, I'm in. I passed on them because their prices were ridiculous for what you got. I did eventually get Megatron when he got marked down and I could use an Optimus to go with him.

BBTS still has their City Captain hero hobby one up, and that one actually transformers. Surprising amount of die cast in there too for balance.

Thanks! That IS a really nice little figure. Alas, the reason I wanted the Kid's Logic Magnus is because it's the inner white-Optimus Magnus, not the armored version. I've been trying to complete my Inner Prime collection lately (well, within reason... I'm drawing the line at some of the super-expensive statues and large figures).

    Thanks for the heads-up, though!
