this is interesting and thankfully the seekers wont be baby bots like the datsuns. also the reveal will be fairly soon.

 

I am kind of starting to hope they get Megatron out soon, but I can't argue with my favourite character. Who I'll absolutely buy a million times as the rest of the Seeker if he's as good as their others.

 

Probably the same size as The DX9 Seekers.

 

Suspect the dx9s are slightly bigger.

Absolute must is the seekers have nullray swivel. Suspect they will as they do have to be better than dx9s. In the teaser picture here showing off their tidy backs.

I want more carbots. Things we havent seen before in legends.... i can live without seekers because dx9s are close so more carbots. Need fresh stuff.

An interesting thing this churns up is that if newage is willing to do seekers, why wouldnt they because of repaint value, then i guess they will do an optimus likely at some point too.

 

Ah geez. Directly competing with Magic Square again. Not a terrible thing, it would be great to have choice, but yeah, I'd've rather have seen Newage take on Hound, Mirage, Sunstreaker, Blitzwing and Astrotrain before the Seekers, of whom we already have perfectly serviceable DX9 and upcoming MS versions of. Heck, even Sideswipe would have offered to better an existing thing more usefully.

That said, I love my Newage carbots more than any other versions, so I'll have a hard time turning a nice version of these guys down if they look great..

*sigh* At least it's not a silhouette but I'm so fucking tired of teasers. Don't try to get me excited with flash and no substance; show me the damned thing so I can decide if it's something I actually want. Instead I have to keep it on my radar until we see something substantial and then decide.

Still, if you were gonna' do a teaser, showing a good looking upper back, an area that never looks good on any Starscream figure, is a pretty good way to do it.

[Edit] Also, his intakes are curved like the cartoon. That hints at false parts with the actual jet intakes folding away. This has the potential to be a seriously impressive transformation. Dammit, they got me hyped with a stupid teaser!

 

This is the very frustrating and interest-killing part of this.

I have great figures of staples already. Waiting 1/4 - 1/2 a year for them to repaint their way through Seekers is underwhelming.

 

So much for the deluxe insecticons.   I have a sinking feeling the other three kings are Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Megatron. Oh well, can't really be mad if the seekers are as good as the renders. Hope we get coneheads too.

Am I the only one satisfied with the MFT OSKOs?

 

I mean.. I love the dx9 guys, they have a nice alt, and charismatic bot mode, but lots of problems too.. the neck platform, non poseable non dynamic wings, the tippy ankles don't allow for many standing poses, no waist swivel, visible arms in the cockpit base in jet mode, the engine nozzles on the top of the jet are too flat. Thrust has kinda swoopy lines that aren't as sharp and edgy as the more successful CHUG alt (and g1). etc. And then on top of all that, the MFT KO's are too big!
