    I doubt it'll be a part of Studio Series itself, due to Evac not being tied to any toyline in particular.

    man, the detail is almost so incomprehensible that when it's all painted grey like this he could easily pass as the 07 design.

    I don't mind this repaint at all because it's not like it'll be taking up an actual Leader slot from the retail line. This was never going to be 2007 Megatron, the DOTM figure was only a Leader so it could have its full cab + trailer mode not be tiny. A hypothetical 2007 Megatron would be a Voyager just like the ROTF Megs.

    The lack of a Murder Arm accessory is disappointing though.

    I’ll have to wait for in-hand pictures to make a definite judgement because right now SS “Crankcase” is not longer the laziest repaint I’ve seen.

    No, I was hoping the leaked code for a leader SS Megatron was for a mass retail 07 Megatron. From what I understand, this occupies the same code as the leader class Megatron from the leaked Studio Series listings

    never the less this doesn't mean 07 Megatron is out of the question.

    It just moves back on the board from a rumor to a it will probably happen eventually. Because from what ive seen so far from the line and personally think SS has at least 1 more year after next year.
