I like that it’s Ray who steps up as Earth’s representative, and lays down the law. That’s in character. This series looks pretty fun.
I gotta say, I’m sometimes back and forth on whether I hear the voices of the movie Ghostbusters or The Real Ghostbusters with some of IDW’s stuff. That last monologue is PURE Ackroyd Ray though. There’s no more perfect expression of how his Ray would greet a Transformer.
Starscream: Truce! Me: I naturally assume Starscream will live up to his word and he won\'t betray anyone the first chance he gets. Now, if you\'ll excuse me, I need to go see a prince in Africa about moving banking funds to him.
i think thats the major issue with most adaptions because some writers are more familiar with one iteration of the character over the other and for some people they tend to blend together look at obi wan and the many different interpretations of alex guiness, ewan mcgregor, and james arnold taylor
Couldn\'t we have this drawn by the guy who drew the Kremzeek cover? I mean the art is horrible. Why do the Ghostbusters look like bad caricatures of the actors playing them, as if they were from that Genesis Land of Confusion music video? Their heads are misshapen and deformed like rubber masks.
Looks like the SDCC exclusive mp10 Prime\'s arm on that cover. Was that the thing the blacked out when they showed the full image of the connecting covers?
Will issue #2 be seeing another limited Crain cover? #1 got a great cover from him that was limited to 300 pieces.
Are w e both really that old or do you just know the music video? I like.the art style. If they'd gotten an artist that's more photorealistic, I feel like the Transformers art would suffer. Doing it in an exaggerated caricature style really helps blend the two worlds together. Right now, it's like watching the real Ghostbusters cartoon crossing over with a TFs cartoon.
Why couldn\'t they have just used the \"Real Ghostbusters\" aesthetic instead of the current one? Even a close approximation would do if there were legal issues...
