Well, my concerns about MPM Jazz's legs are back. When we first saw him I wondered then decided it was probably okay. These pictures reinforce the idea that without careful posing they're going to be an eyesore. We'll see. I'll get him either way.
Don't see what's wrong with Jazz, he looks even better than the first shots. Also that's a very hilarious box.
They really just refuse to transform Jazz correctly. The back, pelvis, and legs are all super mistransformed. It’s nice to see the box though because it looks like Jazz has a sliding visor after all. I just wish they’d paint the dang thing because clear is really just the worst option they could have picked. Like seriously the argument is between solid blue and black, but it doesn’t look good transparent.
So, where are these Masterpiece bots going to? I don\'t see Target or Walmart carrying them. Will they be going to GameStop? Amazon exlusives?
Ouch. That backpack on jazz just hurts to look at. I mean I know he's mistransformed so it's not an issue with the figure itself. But eeesh... Also wish they went with blue for the clear plastic but oh well. Really digging that box though! Uh, what? Aren't they like $250+ together? I can't justify spending that much on things I don't care for personally, but that's just me. Not sure if I completely misunderstood what you meant... Although I personally DO care about jazz, so there's that Because he's ready to take a bite out of Jazz's spark. Hehe Har Har
My hype for Megs and Jazz will sometimes come and go because I get more anxious to see how they'll handle the next sophisticated 07 designs like Ratchet and Starscream despite being 1 year away from announcement.
Jazz is a weird one. It corrects a lot issues the HA has but then presents its own unique ones. Certainly, it is the more accurate of the two, but hard to say if it is better at this stage (probably). MP8 I had no interest in but now I am super excited about getting one. These pics, and the ones from Wonderfest, really showed off how imposing it is.
Yeah Jazz is horribly mistransformed. I don't like how they downgraded the paint to be flat colours which don't look appealing - the earlier shots had them metallic which looked a lot nicer. Seems like they still have the transparent visor but at least they seem to have painted his eyes although I'm still not a fan of that mouth plate, makes him look as though he has his mouth gagged or puffed lips.
