Was hoping to see a little more than this. Like that G1 Sunbow-y Optimus from the render.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is nothing that anyone can say that would make me want that ̶G̶a̶o̶G̶a̶i̶G̶a̶r̶ Victory Saber any less. Safe to say, definitely saving up for those two, and seeing if I can't clear a space for them.

The Kuro Kuri line, yes, but at $300.

The Furai line are much cheaper model kits.

You can’t hate on this though, even if it sadly doesn’t transform.

Star Saber is pure gold..... not sure about the GaoGaiGar combination with Victory Leo, but Star Saber alone is fantastic.

I adore this Victory Saber design. They made him even more Brave than before. I just won't pay $399 for an Action Master and then pay another $299 for his pet Lion.

Make a proper toy of this and not a glorious museum piece and I'm there. Frack, I'll buy the model kit even if it doesn't transform or split apart. Just don't charge most of a month's rent for a toy that I want to play with, not just stare at for fear of breaking.

$399 is a new TV. Or a washing machine. Not something I have to lock behind glass to enjoy forever.

Normal people call them action figures.

Also since they don't come with vehicles or partners, only the Bumblebee model counts.

Man, I'm all in with the model kit line, if the others are as good as Starscream; Pime, Megs and Bee are must have for me!

How much is involved in building these model kits? Are they like Gundam kits, where paint is optional, or do they require painting and/or adhesive?

The crotch thrusting on these things just ruin them for me.

Edit: Thank you to Split Lip for educating me.

I love that they went full on super robot with the combination. There was never enough to differentiate Star Saber's normal mode and just wear new shoes, shoulder cannons and wings in his powered up Brave leader mode.

Lack of Lion's head chest was an obvious design error in the first place. Yeah. I said it. I love you G1 Victory Saber, but your lion's head should never have been your backpack.

Lion's paws as his new shoes is awesome as well. Now he looks like Trigger designed a Brave show. Which I really need them to do someday.

Frack this price tho. I need new laptop. Damn you adult life and the lack of winning lottery numbers.

You know you don't have to pose them that way, right?

I wish I could say an optional pose can ruin something for me but I’m an adult

Star Saber looks as cool as usual. I'm still not 100% sure I want to pay $400 for it,though.
On the other hand, the Victory Saber combination still looks like an easy pass.

No glue is required, and they don't require any paint; though they certainly look better with some. So, yes, they are like GunPla kits, and I'd say about the same level of challenge

You need some glue on a few bits, just to make sure the really small snap together bits don't snap right back off. Paint isn't needed, but stickers always look mediocre to terrible. It's not much work beyond a normal out of the box gunpla tho.

Actually no, I didn't realize they were poseable. So thank you for educating me.
