Seeing as many other figures from the SGC 2018 Iron Factory Mega Thread have broken out into their own individual threads, I wanted to kick one off for their City Commander v2.

Figure stands 16.5CM/6.6" tall in robot mode ( Iron Factory - IF-EX44 City Commander Final Battle Armor )

As a legends scale collector and an Ultra Magnus collector, I am beyond excited for this product. I'm aware that as the last figure in their 2019 lineup, its possible we might not see this until early or mid 2020... but I will still be drooling over these pictures every day until then.

It is really ridiculous how much I want this, though I hope it's followed by a closer take on Mille's Magnus design in regular size.

 

i am beyond excited for this bot and everything IF has planned for this coming year. one can only wonder what they have planned for the next shanghai slaughter.

 

Gawd I wish someone like Perfect Effect or Planet X would do a big-ass version of Maximus Ambus.

 

@Grievlocke Proof that you can never have a legends thread without someone asking for a bigger version, eh? At least no one's said it should be KO'd..... yet...

 

Will be picking this up, but also hope a 3rd party makes a CHUG sized one as well.

 

G-Creations had a IDW UM announced long ago. Sadly, they have been silent.

 

Theirs was based on Guidi’s UM, sadly.

 

That lil' Minimus is adorable.... Only recently joined the Legends bandwagon and love what IF are doing. This is a definite buy for me.

 

I personally frown on OS KO Legends since I feel that's going backwards. Maybe if the original was criminally undersized, perhaps. I think this is super neat at Legends scale and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a big CHUG rendition if it looked anywhere as good. I have Kultur and I just paid for Dubhe.

Absolutely getting this whenever it emerges. I gave in a few weeks ago (actually, it was this very figure being announced that did it, damn it) and decided that it was inevitable - I would end up with a G1 cartoon-ish (first two, maybe three years of toys) collection, and an IDW collection. Life's tough...

That 16.5 cm height - is that to the eyes, the top of the head, or the top of the shoulder pylons?

 

16.5cm may be big enough for me

Love this figure..so huge. Love that. Love that IF is getting into individual unique heights for bots. Makes it so much more fun.

Can't wait to pick this one up.. I have a couple questions, maybe for IronMagnus or somebody else that has seen him 1st hand?

1) Is he 16.5cm to the head? Or 16.5cm to the tips of the extended shoulders?

2) Also, any idea how poseable he is? He looks so cool but based on how jacked he is, I feel like he may not pose at all? IF always seems to look and feel even better in person, but I was really curious.

3) Is he a lot of parts forming like the IF Jinrai Prime?

Ya know, it wouldn't be very hard to retool this mold into Star Convoy.

The main question would be what to do instead of those shoulder pylons.
