It is interesting to note that "language, and some innuendo", "some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material" descriptions as seen on previous Transformers movies, is noticeably absent from this movie's rating; indicating a lack of toilet humor and sexualization.
As I expected, since the action scenes look so intense (e.g. Blitzwing choking Bumblebee and drop him to death).
But what will I do without the requisite marijuana brownies jokes? Or the masturbation innuendo? Or a shot of the lead female's @$$, for no reason other than "cool car's give me'z teh bonerz!" and plez add sexy girl to make cliche! Is this what happens in a TF movie when we don't hire Grandpa Time to direct? I'm seriously not ready for a Bay-less movieverse. I'm just... so... salty...
I was never really down for a PG rating. I do want to see a more light-hearted Transformers film but at the same time, I don't want to see water down action sequences. PG-13 is a good choice, especially since it now seems to be lacking the sexual jokes.
Great. Honestly the broad transformers story suits PG-13 or whatever else it translates to. Of course there are other stories which are more dark and serious but generally transformers should be a very fun and easy going series. #JoinTheBuzz
First of all, why would you hope for a PG rating? What would really be the benefit of some arbitrary rating as to a quality TF movie? A good TF movie could have any rating, it just depends on the angle. Second of all why would you be surprised when this movie, like virtually all violent sci-fi films, is PG-13? What kind of delusions have taken over? Unfortunately, no matter the rating we can see already for our own eyes that this is more of the same. Reject it just as you have increasingly rejected these over the last decade and wake up to find opportunity knocking.
Ahahaha, no. The different tone, the lack of potty humor, and also the most important, a director that truly passionate about transformers franchise, is more of the same to you? I mean no disrespect but get your eyes checked.
