I really dig the designs,  I just wish they were done in a different style. 

 

I love the designs. I feel whirl and roadbuster should be in the show!

 

Loving the art so far. Only complaint at all about the series yet, is how megatron is holding his cannon instead of it being arm mounted in this picture. But this is one random pic and maybe not like that in the show.

 

Hawt rrrrrod is in the photo too. I really like this. Definitely gonna watch it with my son. Is it supposed to be a continuation of RID or a new thing altogether?

 

It looks like that with the special attack toy as well.

Blurr design it\'s really cool, I wish we can have a decent figure of him

 

Wheeljack and Grimlock need battlemasks...on all the time.
I'm hoping we do get a mask for wheeljack like the one in animated.



But I will missing the blinking ear pieces.
(Why do they keep giving tranformers known to have face plates no face plates?)

I honestly don't know how to feel about this. The toys are... well... ahhhh...
ok, not for me or I'm not the target audience... ?

Still pics of character designs are... look good so far... ?

 

I like the designs. I just wish we had better toy representation of said designs.

 

I just noticed that Megatron doesn\'t have his fusion canon in his arm, so he wil use a weapon instead?

 

So, Screamer has his null-rays moved to his forearms while Thundercracker keeps them in their rightful place on his shoulders?

 

What do you think they'll be making Masterpieces of in 20 years?

 

The more I look at these characters, the more I feel the actual art style and drawings are just... bad.

The designs are fine, when going off the more detailed, traditionally-rendered ones from before, but this psuedo-Animated style just looks cheap. The shapes and lines are so un-dynamic, it lacks life and looks soulless and cheap. It's like all the wrong lessons were learned from the energy and character the TFA characters exuded just standing there, and they thought wild poses and tapered proportions equate to looking dynamic when they just look... silly.

It's so hard to describe, like the uncanny valley of art styles. It's not so rigid and straight-edge to be realistic, but it's not as flexible or "bendy" as to look properly animated.

 

It's already starting.

 

...are you telling me we're getting Armada MPs in three years?

 

I will love for a release of new design of the old RiD/Armada toyline, if we have a new Starscream, maybe we can have some more...
I want MP of the autobot brothers from the old RiD !
