So I just saw this. All these are available for preorder with a warehouse ETA of 8/20. 5 dollars minimum to preorder each. Appears to be every wave 1 and 2 figure minus Blackout.

    Deluxes are $22.99, voyagers $34.99. leaders $54.99.

Reminder: They JUST did a 25% off action figures and statues sale, so while these are 3-5 over MSRP, they do have more sales on stuff than regular retailers and you can preorder and track each figure, not by the size class.

Mind you, this is an ETA, so it may not be the exact date.

This may not mean a ton now, but this could very well mean well for future waves, as you can preorder individual figures, and not pay for shipping.

Didn't think this would be news, so here I'll post it?

    Fox is Optimus’s codename.

Never thought I’d go pre-order Transformers at Gamestop, but here we are.

I never thought people would be anxious to pre-order a deluxe figure at the 22.99 price point....

Well fuck it’s practically the same price everywhere else. What difference does it make?

just saying I never thought I would see people look forward to paying such a high price. I know, inflation and what not. but it is still 3 dollars more than Target and Wal-Mart. So if you get a 4 figure wave, the extra 3 dollars adds up

They had skus and some stores got Tlk figures. Just not widespread. EB games in Canada carries them a lot, and that's GameStop but up north.

I didn't know some stores got TLK figures as I've said in my time visiting GameStop (and I do it a lot for their exclusive Funkos) I've never once seen them selling anything with the Transformers brand name.

So they marked up the figures. Who the heck is actually buying these from gamestop?

And the nearest Target to me is an hours drive away, and my local Walmart stocks practically nothing. A $2-4 markup is better then $10-15 in gas or shipping.

Surprisingly, not every Walmart carries these. I was just at one yesterday in northern Youngstown and not a single one in sight. You can pretty much trip over a GameStop in a lot of places, now.

We bought them marked up over at TRU, why wouldn't we here?

We should be happy that there's another source to buy figures...

Speak for yourself- I don’t buy marked up retail figures. There are enough sources out there selling these at msrp (ex. HTS, amazon, walmart, target). When has gamestop had anything cheap or worthwhile? This is a company that opend all brand new games and sold these now used items as brand new.

The three local GameStops all carried TLK figures, so this isn't a surprise.
Still, there's no way I'd pay the markup even if I was looking for these.
GD marks up prices on almost everything. Their ML figures are also marked up about$3 more than standard retail.

I think every GameStop around here either closed or isn't doing so well. The one in the mall closes up shop and the one by Walmart doesn't seem very active. Very odd choice to sell TFs there considering they usually jack up the prices on, well, everything there.

    Sweet!
I bought some clearance TLK figures from them at a nice discount, so I'm sure they'll sit on a bunch of these until they're marked down as well.

Seems a bit late to start getting SS in now, much less at a markup.

Calm down. When I said we, I meant collectors as a whole. Not every collector, just fandoms in general. Good grief, take a chill pill. And yes, I'll pay over retail if it saves me gas and time, but only over if it's within reason. Not Amazon's 3rd party Optimal Optimus pricing..
