Whooo so happy i held out for FT to do Beachcomber

Looks like I don't hafta worry about XTB's Beachcomber reissue now...

 

I like XTB Beachcomber enough to not need to replace him with this FT version even though this one looks damn good.

BC Warpath is much better than this wimpy FT version....easy pass

Never liked BC Brawn so will definitely keep an eye on FT Brawn.

 

XTB is my beachcomber - no need to replace it.

Brawn though - I sold off Brawny long ago because he just didn’t quite have “it”. Hoping this one is more on point.

 

I love my BC Warpath but may be in be in on FT as well, he's a favorite character.

In all honesty the Brawny silhouette does nothing for me. Happy that people who wanted a different one are getting it but I really dig the BC stout and brawly version.

 

I can skip any version of the hippie. I cant skip Brawn.

I never liked Brawny.

 

I’ve been wanting a fanstoys beachcomber for so long and now it’s finally here! Yes! Sign me up for the g2 version. I couldn’t care much from brawn.

 

I liked brawny way more than I was expecting to.
I think the reason this version isn’t appealing to me is that he is all legs and no head.

That Beachcomber, though...  

 

Same! His head is gonna be tiny. Maybe it’ll look better on outback.

Also he does look super slender. Unless he was really like that it doesn’t feel like brawn to me.

 

Beachcomber looks on point...brawn....he looks waaaaay too slender. Brawny ain't perfect...far from it, but at least he looks like a bruiser. This guy, he looks like he's ready for a spinning class.

 

Honestly to know FansToys is doing Beachcomber and Brawn is somewhat bitter sweet,yes I am glad they are doing them but with FT's rep of being slow as hell it will be atleast Summer 2020 before these are released,and that is A Big If since they are infamous for delays and hold-ups in QC problems.But on a positive note even tho they are just blurred images I can see Beachcomber is 10X better than Badcubes version which thankfully I held out in getting,to me BC's version just fell short of the perfect Beachcomber.

 

While I like BC Brawn I really like the look of the FT one and I know that Ft will have a more premium finish and is more toon accurate. I’ll definitely be in on him. I just don’t know if I need to replace XTB Arkose.

 

Damn! FT ain’t fuckin around!!! All of their reveals has been quite impressive!! So glad I waited on these 3 guys which I don’t have from BC or XTB

 

Rare for me to be underwhelmed by a FT reveal but this did it. Neither looks very good to me but Brawn in particular seems quite poor. Ill-proportioned at the very least. Beachcomber is one of the very few figures that I think XTB absolutely nailed so see no reason to replace him.

On the other hand, these are just blurry silhouettes, so it's entirely possible I'll have a different impression once they're further along.

 

FT Brawn showed up for leg day, but skipped arm day?

 

Yup, that is 3 purchase right there for me!!!!! Minibots, yeah baybe.
