ALL OF THIS COULD BE EXPLAINED BUT CHOSE NOT TO. Holy SHIT these guys are fucking lazy! I refuse to believe they were the guys who wrote for Megas XLR; no one on that team could do something so stupid and NOT write it as satire.


The only redeeming factor for this series's existence is that we MAY get actual figures of the 13 Primes.

 

Man, remember that other web show that decided that the stuff they were telling in the show was "too important" and started shoving lore into a side series, even though this supposedly deep lore actually was just crowding out a story already packed with too many characters who weren't getting developed, or having anything meaningful happen to them at all?

What was that show called again? RWBY? I don't know, it's been too long. I doubt it's even still running, considering just how much they managed to blunder.

And sorry TFW news team, but nothing these shows do is ever really going to be "cool." In fact, I think this is going to go down as one of the most uncool things in the Transformers franchise. At least the live-action movies look nice.

Well, somebody has to be the one person here who loves this and the mini-series as a whole. I guess I shall be that person.  

 

I miss the good ol\' days when the Requiem Blaster was made of three cool little minicons.
Making it a regular (albeit, immensly powerful) gun is kinda boring, imo.

 

I like it too. I just don't understand what's the big deal it's a free online cartoon! I mean it's FREE, you don't have to pay for it. They give us a free cartoon to watch, for our enjoyment and everybody just complains about it.
And I mean come on does anyone remember the Unicron Triogy cartoons? Those were horrible cartoons, this is way better in every way.

 

Being "free" is no excuse. I've seen a fair share of decent webtoons around, all billions of lightyears better than this crap. I'd also argue it costs something even far more valuable than money: Our time. There is no effort put into this show. No effort by the writers, no effort by the animators, no effort by the voice directors or actors (rightly so). Why should laziness be rewarded?

I do. It helped get me into Transformers in the first place. That right there is something the Machinima trilogy is incapable of: Bringing in fans.

 

Probably because few people really enjoy it.

Free or not, crap is crap.

Without checking the video, let me guess - the writers just browsed TF wiki and found the name there, they don't actually know it is a weapon composed of 3 Minicons, right?
EDIT: Watched it, maaaan, not only are they messing up, they don't even follow the aligned "bible"? Megatronus sides WITH Unicron, that's why he is the Fallen. Now he actually defeated Unicron and then killed Solus by accident because he did not want to give back his new toy? Facepalm...

Actually, that sort of explains it, no? Megas was the show where every time lore or plot or something interesting started to happen, that fat guy accidentally pushed a button and blew up half a planet or something. I mean the whole show could have ended with a truce between humans and the aliens but he messed up and by mistake punched the leader and started it all again.
There was also the episode with Peter Cullen and Frank Welker voicing expies of Prime and Megs that ended with Not-Cybertron blown up.
Maybe they are doing these shows as parody too, and Hasbro still does not realize that?

We DID get figures of them. And they are basically Titan Master sized blocks that turn into the inner robots of various G1 pretenders, so... nothing special.

Also, why doesn't Megatron just slap it on his arm replacing his fusion cannon? They cannot even alter their CGI models by that much?

 

Has Transformers ever had a cartoon that wasn't free? Also, it's only financially free, I wasted my time on the CW show and Machinima can't refund me for that and this is far worse than Armada or Cybertron.
