Not sure if this is old news. Interesting stuff, though, apparently she's in charge of the seekers, not Starscream.

But wasn't Windblade one of the first revealed characters?

Can't really be pandering to G1 if 30% of the then-revealed cast wasn't from the original series.

 

Pretty unexpected but certainly not unwelcomed.  

 

I mean, she's technically G1? Not original cartoon G1 but G1 none the less.

Nice to finally have her back in a proper role since Animated. And makes sense she leads the seekers - even in TFA she was far more competent at her job than Starscream.   Speaking of whom, would love if Tom Kenny returned to voice him. Steven Blum was Ok as a different sort of more brooding Starscream, but Kenny does the best treacherous voice.

 

Slipstream's dynamic with Starscream is certainly going to be interesting. While I don't doubt Starscream will be Decepticon second-in-command for at least some of the series, I'll bet Slipstream has her own ambitions of replacing Starscream as Megatron's second, just as Starscream will inevitably try to overthrow Megatron more than once.

I also bet Starscream, probably as ex-commander of the seekers, will disagree with Slipstream's command style.

 

Good! The whiner's had their chance with 10 years of Bay-former's, TF Prime, Animated and whatever that RID and Machima crap consist of.

I'll give this a chance.

Aye, finally the franchise is going back to basics, never evolving, forever stagnating, never going into new and exciting places that got it out of the rut that was G2....always the same, same as it ever was same as it ever was

 

Cool to see Slipstream get some screentime, she’s a character that hasn’t gotten much since Animated.

 

Looks like Megatron's finally had enough of Starscream's shit. It'd be neat if there was an in-story reason why Starscream was seemingly demoted, hopefully they don't continue to flanderize his character.

Hopefully she's written well, and she could definitely work as a foil to Windblade.

 

This is going to be very interesting.

 

Actually quite interesting. There hasn\'t been much of her in the animated shows sans being a minor character so this might be quite intriging. 

 

She's a union actress, that's nice. Was nervous we were gonna see the same crap we're getting for the new Rescue Bots.

 

Honestly summed up my thoughts 100% right here. Hype levels gone from 2% to 50% in a single headline.
