    It's still painted. You can see on the shoulders in the back view the parts are transparent and painted over.

    Will probably look better in person.
    In that frontal view pic, the backpack isn't visible and it wasn't that obvious at the Toy Fair show either - at least, judging by the Toy Fair showfloor pics.
