As we watch this continuity wind down, is there any chance that there will be some Omnibus releases, or is this it?

 

They have a collection compendium out a year or two ago labelled as volume one, but I still see no sign of a volume two.

How many volumes, total, will phase 2 run in this format? I bowed out at All Hail Megatron, but I'd consider picking the whole thing up eventually since there is an end point

...i’m concerned that the entire continuity mightn’t see publication in IDW collection volumes due to the reboot...

...it sounds like there are perhaps twenty volumes of material in phase two...

 

I would love a MTMTE Omnibus, but I guess picking up The Autocracy Trilogy will do.

 

I'm guessing phase 2 will go through volume 10. Phase 3 will probably go 3 or 4 volumes depending on how many of the tie ins they include.

 

I highly doubt IDW will pass up the opportunity to sell people the same comics twice or possibly three times. I'm not sure how they'll handle all the Revolution stuff and the crossover branching after that but it'll all get released in the hardcover format one way or another.

 

I hope with the impending reboot they start pumping these volumes out a bit quicker! I started reading only recently by buying all the current volumes, and I'm nearly finished!

I reckon there's going to be at least twelve volumes [in total in Phase 2] we hit Revolution. We've got to fit in both mainline titles up to Revolution (so Combiner Disagreements and Titans Return, among other stories) and Sins of the Wreckers. And a couple of odd one-shots. Over fifty issues by my reckoning...

 

I've been running my usual list of issues - im also certain we'll get up two phase 2 Volume 12.

Then the possible phase 3... Revolution, until the end! I'm thinking/guessing if they stick to the 12-16 issue format.. we should have enough material for another 8 volumes.

So if we include Volume 8, we could/should have another 13 volumes before total completion... or at least another 6 years!


EDIT: scratch that.. i completely missed out the Till All Are One ongoing after #4... with a bit of re-jigging i'd have thought we could get to 14 volumes left to release.

 

I really doubt that the OP/LL volumes will be labelled as Phase 3, it's all still part of the "Barberts era".

Of the crossover-y stuff, I'd assume that Revolution, Revolutionaries and First Strike would go into the Collection volumes, but not any of the material for other franchises alone.
