BTW, I posted these in the other thread a while ago...

 

God these look good. Lockdown's arms being transformed that way look much better than the display version. (even though his bigfoot pose combined with his neutral expression kinda makes him look silly) Starscream is a must-have. Finally, a good version of the character that has wrist swivels! Grimlock also looks badass as all hell, and Blackout is a dream come true.

I mean, they all just look so great, it's almost suspicious... Except Prime. Maybe Prime sacrificed his aesthetics so the rest of the line could look good? How honourable.

 

Holy shit!!!!!!!!! These are all beautiful looking figures. IF they actually end up looking this way in stores. I\'m shocked Hasbro didn\'t cheap out and make 2 step changers or something as per the usual.

I hope they actually do well.

Too bad no leader Bonecrusher.  

 

By the way, the voyager optimus prime is horrible.

Lmao everyone is ragging on prime. I think hes cool. im happy to have a better articulated version of the og movie prime. I love my battle blades voyager, but the articulation isnt great.

 

Honestly, with Battle Blades, ROTF leader, and Evasion, I think Prime can sit this one out. Cuz holy shit, everything else looks great. Megatron and Grimlock are as good as bought.

 

So Starcream is just an upscaled Deluxe........Lame.

I just noticed Jazz's chest has an upside down bumper like the Human Alliance.

 

Yeah, definitely they just took the exact same cad model and made it bigger. They didn’t change any detailing, or improve the proportions, or add entire panels that weren’t there on the deluxe...I mean why would they do that, when they’re basically a Chinese knockoff company?

 

Idk how I feel about Blackout....He has Gorilla arms and I feel as though they could have done better...
Prime looks atrocious.
I NEED that Megatron.
I really hope that Bumblebee is a new design. Something about it puts me off but I still want it.
Jazz looks too much like his 2007 Deluxe
Stinger and Lockdown give me a sense of Deja Vu but I still kinda want them
Brawl.......Is something. I\'m happy as hell to see a brand new Brawl.....But those arms.... 
I\'m disappointed that they went with a Dread instead of Bonecrusher.

 

PS Are we also getting a Studio Series Ironhide, or was that Ironhide that showed up in the Studio Series list a month or two ago the MPM figure?

 

Such a weird feeling : the Bayverse coming to an end - which I agree with actually - but then again, it has always just been about the toys for me.

With that said ; I freaking love that Starscream (the Takara movie advanced deluxe was already such a glorious little figure) and Lockdown. They will be mine.

 

What is the street date for wave 2? Are the leaders coming out with the deluxe and voyagers or, is it a TLK situation were the deluxe and voyagers come out but the leaders at another time?
