And we are starting to get our first images from Toy Fair 2018. Our first set brings us the Flame Toys Kuro Kara Kuri Action Figures And G1 Model Kits On Display.

The Kuro Kara Kuri are highly detailed, poseable and fully-licenced non-transforming action figures. On display we can see Drift, Tarn and Star Saber. We also have a look at Flame Toys G1 Model kits, with Starscream and Optimus Prime. Both the action figures and the model kits are getting a US release.

Yes! I\'ve been losing interest in model kits for a while, but I was so excited to hear that there would be TF model kits. I\'m so excited that they\'re getting a U.S. release. I seriously hope that they continue with the line! 

 

Do the model kits transform? It doesn\'t look like it, but if so I am all in.

 

This looks fun. Too bad they don\'t transform but at least it\'ll be better than the old Grand Convoy kits from back in the day (kept having issues with Copter rotors).

 

These are tempting!

 

Another thing that excites me is how great an opportunity this gives me. I\'ve wanted to start customizing, and now I can try on model kits!!!! Perhaps I can buy two Primes, paint 1 into Nemesis Prime. Or maybe buy multiples of different sets, and mix up parts in order to create my ideal look for Nemesis. Primus, in so excited for this line!!!!! 

 

Man I can\'t wait for that Tarn! Looks gorgeous!

 

I find it hilarious that the first official Tarn figure we get can't transform considering his addiction to it.

It annoys me a little, but only because his tank mode is oddly adorable.

 

I’m not interested in non transforming Transformers...
... but I might be interested in a couple of these.

 

I hope this also means better prices. I want that Star Saber so bad.

 

if a 3p does an upgrade that makes them transform I'll be all over Tarn and Star Saber...and Optimus maybe.

 

I have a feeling those action figures are priced way above my budget for such things, but if those model kits have comparable prices to similarly sized Gundam kits, I'll be all over those. Model kits are so much fun.

 

Hell yeah! This is how you do action masters in the current day. Also I would love some action master characters in this style.

That Optimus Prime has nice childbearing hips.

 

Never got this sense from Milne's art in the comics, but that Star Saber looks like someone crossed the original Star Saber with the Destiny Gundam. Not that that's a bad thing.
