Doesnt mean Bee is safe, as it will open the same day as Aquaman.

Reboot.......maybe. Could be also that the actress is simply playing a different character in the same universe/timeline, like how David Warner was an ambassador for earth in Star Trek 5 and then was Klingon Chancellor in Star Trek 6.....no relation but same universe/timeline. I saw that John Cena said it was a reboot, so that is another bit of evidence saying reboot, still could be a red herring and she is "mother of....." in current movie timeline.

I think this is going to be a somewhat radical departure from the bayverse we've been used to for the past decade. I think Knight will make this a very enjoyable movie.

 

I think the only movie they should be worried about going up against is the Miles Morales Spider-Man film. MPR doesn’t seem to have much hype around it (I’m sort of excited to see if they’re gonna be able to recapture the magic of the first one), and because the DC films as of late have been incredibly mediocre, I think the Bumblebee movie has a real chance in the box office.

 

Paramount can act boastful about this movie as long as they want but if I don't see a character named BARRICADE in it then I'm not watching.

I'm just super-worried because while it sounds like Knight is trying to make something good, the screenwriter's previous scripts were both on the Black List (the annual list of the best unproduced scripts), but resulted in bad overall movies. Surely it's not her fault...right?

 

Apart from John Cena, the rest are total unknowns for me... and I only know him being a wrestler.

I'm guessing not a lot they've already shown a drawing of his head and it looks pretty much the same. Most likely he will just have bug parts where his Camaro parts usually go. The question is does he keep his door wings?

Its not a reboot they already confirmed it takes place in the same universe as the other movies, and its a prequel to the 07 movie with this taking place in the 80s.

 

This would mean a lot more if there were more consistent continuity across the 5? movies so far

 

The atress who plays charile in here she actraully is a oscar winning Actress she one her oscar in a remake Of True gritt with Jeff bridges and Matt Damon, she actraully did a good job in that movie. i can't really say anything else or compare her to any other movie because i really don't Follower her and i only sence her in that movie

This IS NO damn Reboot, get over it.

It is a PREQUEL to the first TF Movie. Playing in 1987 it plays a few Years before the Storyline of TF1
And TF6 in 2019 is also a SEQUEL to The Last Knight.

Otherwise, Paramount had already said "We are Rebooting the entire Series in 2018 and 2019"
BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. TF6 for release in 2019 will already start filming next Year.
If there would be any kind of Reboot, Paramount would have already give a statement to this.

Instead, the Bumblebee Prequel Movie is already done, and the filming / Shooting of TF6 will begin in 2019.
This is already confirmed.

For me a Reboot also means NEW ROBOT Designs. And that is also NOT the Case.
All Designs will be the same.

There is no Reboot, as the next 2 Movies are already confirmed; 1 done already, 1 in the Works.

Sorry to crush your Dreams guys. But Bumblebee will stay as he is with his same Design (But other Vehicle Mode)
