It's happening. Pre movie MP cars are about to be complete! Now xtb or dx9 just need to do a smaller, cartoony Warpath and the fat lady can piss off.

Wha, it's finally happening, i'm not fan of skids, but i'm glad that now the carbots will be completed  

 

Now the big question, which weapons do you give him to hold, I love how much of an arsenal this guy had.

 

Just his two original weapons, and maybe a blaster to fill that aspect, skids isn't a guy from much stuff.

 

Keep in mind XTB has many teased projects that have yet to see the light of day (although if they're smart they'll jump on this and actually be first in for a change).

Still think they had the best looking Inferno and he has yet to come out.

 

But BC Wardog looks very G1 to me... Other than the complex transformation he is quite good!

 

I'm glad you're happy bud but he's not acceptable in either size or look to me. Gimme something less bulky, simpler to transform and shorter please  

The overall point is there is finally a reveal of the last carbot alot of ppl want/need. I'm fairly certain we'll be swimming in options now the first is here.

It's also worth noting the first released of a character normally takes the lions share of the market it seems. Their Inferno is 4th (I think) to be released, one of which is an official alot will buy automatically as their primary? How many realistically are they gonna sell?

 

Interesting. I still don't feel ANY of the 3rd parties have really captured the Autobot cars in the same way Takara have managed to but I'll be keeping an eye on this.

 

Nice little tease, XTB! Hope to see some robot renders or a proto soon.

Also please base it on the toy and not the toon as the toon had crappy arms that look awful besides he was only in the toon for like 5 seconds

 

It's got the toy scooter accessory so who knows.

 

Better come with Charlene. While they're at it they need to include Alana for Neptune, Talaria for Klaatu, and announce their Powerglide v2 with Astoria

 

No ones gonna comment on the funky little scooter accessory he looks like he comes with in homage to the real life Honda City? That's a fairly new idea for an accessory isn't it, not referencing something from the toon or the toy but something from the real car?
Edit: beat me to it, and pointed out that the scooter was a toy accessory! (Though I think diaclone only?)

 

Diaclone toys has the scooter, to me it is a must!

 

Hopefully this means that other companies will be announcing their own versions soon.

 

Skids was my first ever G1 carbot, so I have a special place for the original toy. If this is half as good as the one @Jarrod made it will be great!

Yeah, I'm normally all for toon accuracy but that character model was clearly based on pictures of a mistransformed toy. Maybe have the option to mistransform this figure the same way, but give him normal arm articulation as stock!

 

Yup. He's the biggest PITA ever to transform, but He's definitely the best we'll ever get for MP Warpath.

Skids!!! Yes!!

I *could* pretty much finish off all of the s1 and s2 'Deluxe' cars if this is any good!

Now, can we get some other companies to do Cliffjumper, Powerglide, accurate (bigger, tubbier) Seaspray, Brawn, and Hubcap, please?!
