It may not transform but it's still as gorgeous as ever.

It's way bigger. It's like the size of ThreeA Transformers or something

Looks like it walked off the page. Man, I wish one someone makes a Drift figure that\'s close to this beautiful work of art but transforms.

This is by Sentinel, thou. Currently they are on a roll and churning out nice and high quality stuff, IMO.

I think it's articulated so it's more accurately an action figure and not a statue. It may not transform but it looks fantastic to me.

I believe HasTak has strict licensing for official third party figures so the vast majority don't transform in order not to compete directly with HasTak's own product gimmicks. You'll get the odd official 3P that transforms into a hat, pen, sneaker shoes, or electronic digital device, etc., but actual vehicles are very few and far between.

It transforms as much as Drift transforms in the comics!

One of the photos of the promotional posters says this product has 50+ points of articulation. So, yeah, it's NOT a statue. It's a non-transforming action figure. The news snippet saying it's a statue needs to be changed.

This happened months ago with the 3A Movie Optimus, Starcream, and Megatron. And then again with the 3A G1 Optimus and Megatron. They are not statues and the Flame Toys Drift is not a statue and have never been statues. This should be easy to correct

I don't get it. He transforms in the comics, at least in the earlier comics that feature Drift (which are the only ones with Drift I've read so far).

Yeah, I don't get it. The Prime 1 Studio stuff would be classed as statues. These are action figures, for want of a better term.

    So Drift has two variants:
Drift mini-MTMTE colours and Empire Of Stone-onwards colours.

I\'m still looking forward to Tarn\'s figure but not his inevitably high price. >_<

Its like 7.6" to 8" tall I believe those were the 2 heights given depending on head or shoulders and yea it's super annoying when the staff calls figures with more articulation then a Shfiguarts figure, a "statue". (Speaking about Comicave/3A Optimus')

That said, I've had my eye on this since 1st announced. Since bluefin is behind this I have a feeling were looking at Ironman Sentinel Iron Man figures prices!

Agreed. A statue implies that it's "static", meaning it's non-poseable and has zero points of articulation, much like Prime1 Studio offerings. Meanwhile, products like 3A Transformers and stuff like this Drift have loads of joints and points of articulation, and should be correctly called non-transforming action figures.

Calling them statues definitely gives people and potential buyers the wrong impression. One of the photos even has a promo poster that states that this Drift figure has 50+ PoA.

I know I saw that "50 points articulation" on the backboard and was like "WTF they don't even pay attention to what they're putting up sometimes!" thinking back to the title. Which hardly ever gets updated. And as such you have no idea how many ppl thought the 1st 3A Transformers figures were statues for the 1st year or two. So those ppl looked ignorant (&obvious) when posting in a 3A Bumblebee YouTube video review things like my favorite comment "I don't collect statues" one of my favorite insults to someone saying they watched the video :lol  Its awhile ago. By now ppl are finally catching on.
