    Well that sucks.
Optimus Prime just feels wrong if it's not Peter Cullen

I wonder who's the new voice actor going to be. There's a good chance that it'll be Jon Bailey a.k.a Epic Voice Guy considering the fact that he did his role on Combiner Wars web series.

Rescue Bots had an absolutely fantastic cast and crew, and it's a real shame they're replacing them. I can't imagine that the new show will have the same magic as the original if things are changing behind the scenes that much.

There are only two voices for Optimus Prime. Peter Cullen and Garry Chalk.

Which sounded terrible. I stand by my first instinct on Boulder Media produced Transformers: it will be a Charlie Foxtrot done on the cheap. Think DiC GI Joe, but with an even smaller budget.

It's a shame when they change voice actors for the same character(s).

Changing all of the voice actors?

I'm out. It was fun while it lasted.

Yes!!!! I've been waiting for a TF voice cast from the NY acting pool. I really hope more Transformers cartoons follow suit with this precedent.

I dunno about you guys but I often consider it a shame when a longtime actor/cast gets replaced (hell just look at Lucina being voiced by Alexis Tipton instead of Laura Bailey now). While I haven\'t watched a ton of Rescue Bots, I thought the voice cast were all well-suited to their roles, and it\'s a shame to see them be replaced. Here\'s hoping the new ones do their jobs as well as their predecessors did.

The voice cast for this show made the show great. My daughter loves Rescue Bots and I've come to enjoy it because of the witty jokes and great voice cast. I'm sorry to read about this change

Oh god, I hope not. TF shows need to stop using Peter Cullen sound alikes. They never get the voice quite right.

I'm excited to see the new voice cast but I'll miss the old one. They surpassed G1 in episode count and made their characters all enjoyable. Rescue Bots was supposed to be a show for kids but from Morocco to Quickshadow it became something epic. I'm still hyped for this new show and can't wait to see what new characters (especially Bots and Villains) it brings about and what storylines it tackles.
I know right. Alexis isn't nearly as close to the great voice of Laura Bailey.

    "Non-union cast"

Oh, yeah, that sure sounds like it'll work out really well.

I can't wait for the headline in the future, "Rescue Bots Academy cast goes on strike because they aren't being paid"

You know, you've been conditioned to believe that a union is absolutely essential for worker rights and fair pay - this is a fallacy. Not every corporation wants to screw over its employees, and the fact is that unions demand dues and extra benefits that raise the cost of hiring people. The raised costs mean the company can afford LESS employees on payroll AND that prices inevitably go up - for YOU, the consumer, who has been led to believe that unions are absolutely essential to happiness. :(

That's not to say that unions haven't helped oppressed workers! But keep in mind that "union" does not equal justice for all because they can be even more corrupt than the corporation they are fighting, and they can be stupid greedy - like when an auto company is on the brink of bankruptcy and the union keeps demanding more and more benefits/wages (in these situations, the unions expedite the bankruptcy and everyone loses their jobs! GO UNION! :rolleyes2 ).

Hasbro just don't care about their IP do they? The only all-round decent quality kid's show they've ever made & they're about to ruin it.

My kids won't watch season 5 if they change round the cast. The characters in Rescue Bots are actually rounded out unlike the other piss poor cartoons they've made. Their voices matter. They won't watch.

Consequently they won't buy the toys either.
