I'm...... not enjoying this. It's cluttered. The art, the shading, the story. It's all just jammed together and doesn't really form a coherent narrative. This may be the first TF comic I stop subscribing to.
I like the art, I\'m just not sure Brucham\'s color is the right fit. And I\'m a fan of his colors on Milne. When you have a more rendered gritty style like this you need vivid colors to make it all pop or it all flattens out. But this whole mixed universe Hasbro is pushing on IDW is a mess to me.
The art in the first issue was great, so much that I congratulated Kei Zama on twitter. This issue? Much worse, which I feel bad for saying. It\'s just so messy and hard to make out what\'s going on, Wreck-Gar in particular looks atrocious.
As others have mentioned: the art looks too busy. Also: Page 3 Panel 1: Wreck-Gar has RIPPED HIS OWN HEAD OFF!!!
I\'m a little unnerved by the fact GI Joe is now a mandatory part of the transformers world, I\'m not looking for GI Joe stories when I read a Transformers comic.
I'm really loving the art in this, I don't usually like too much stylization but this is very 90's, it's hitting me right in the childhood. Much better than that guy who took over for Milne on MTMTE, I hate that cartoony shit.
-.- don't want go Joe in transformers, art is cool. But nah. I'll skip this series. Just like revolution.
Wait Spike's real name is Spoiler Steven.... WHAT? also I'm still unsure for what kind of voice to read Wreck-Gar as.
Haha! Glad to see Wreck-Gar back! I..am bit lost with this new comics but I will catch up soon. thanks for the link!
This comic is getting more and more muddied and as a Transformers fan, I utterly do not care to have it be cluttered by tons of other franchises like GI Joe. Why Optimus wants to remain on Earth when he should be back rebuilding Cybertron (which is being attacked by undead Titans right now) is anyone\'s guess. And I kinda liked Wreck Gar better when he wasn\'t making sense. It also doesn\'t jibe why he quotes Earth literature but apparently knows nothing about humans...
