Looks nice. Generations/United Kup is great but I guess I can put that one in my IDW/Wreckers display while this will go to my G1 movie collection.

I hope the toy's face looks better than the artwork face does.

i'm happy he's getting an update, but sad because i have to replace the one in my wreckers collection.

*i prefer that when a character has master or minicon linked to it, that i get them together*

Has wave 4 accidentally become the Wreckers wave?

 

While it looks good so far I'll probably keep my generations version with the igear head

There seems to be a lot of similarities with the blurr/brainstorm mold. Don't know how I feel about that.

The artwork does look pretty g1 accurate? I mean he's got squareish shoulders instead of round but what's not g1 about it (aside from the headmaster of course)

 

Well...altmode might still be really G1-ish.....plus....Titans Return is still very much Generations, ergo; a modern interpretation like TR Pmop.

 

the chest looks nothing like the animation model

I was hoping they would do him as accurate as they did with Blurr

I dont mind the square shoulders vs the round one if the rest of him was more closer to the cartoon

 

Idk, it's pretty g1 to me, just imagine the lights on the chest are turned off and it doesn't look to far off

 

Im probably in a different place than many here. I dont buy toys for myself anymore, have not in a long time. I buy toys for my kid and my kid wants his toys to look like the cartoon. He doest want modern interpretations , he wants what he sees on the show. Now he doesnt mind the headmaster thing, he really likes the headmaster idea in fact but he is disappointed when the toys do not look like the cartoon.

hopefully the toy looks more g1 accurate as I do LOVE buying him toys that look g1
