new look at the optimus prime helmet from tf5 in package

 

Thats one bitchn' box.

 

Glad to see the return of CGI images on packaging. It looks much more impressive.

 

They're finally using real bot renders, we didnt see those since ROTF. But for some reason they changed the colors of his chest plate, it was blue flames on red, now its red on blue.

 

Holy god, this packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The Prime render and everything else makes it look so elegant. I'm thoroughly impressed, can't wait to see how the other packaging looks.

How odd. Still it's a nice render. I'm guessing the drawn promo images we saw at the licensing expo are just for displays.

It's from Hasbro's display at Taipei Movie & Toy Convention.

This Adam.Glam guy even kept the watermark but didn't feel the need to properly credit his source.

 

Oh good, more gimmicky crap to shelf warm, instead of making real figures.

 

You're gonna get role play toys with any movie based line, it's barely competing with the actual figures.

 

It's really nice to finally see the cgi render make a come back on the packaging, makes the box a lot more awesome looking. So much better than the AOE packaging where they were using where I believe were concept arts.  

 

That isn't how this works, but whatever helps you feel better.

 

Nice, but where's the Megatron helmet. If they don't make a Megatron helmet which would be not good. I might have to get this OP one and paint it Nemisiss Prime colors and there we go 

 

Reminds me of the DOTM packaging a little. I'll admit I'll miss the drawing pics of the AOE packaging but this isn't too bad. Has an space vibe to it and knowing where we may see Optimus at for most of the TLK it makes sense why.

 

Oh, wow. The box art actually uses a real, high-quality movie render in the generic running fist action attack pose. Sweet!

 

I\'ll be buying one of these shelfwarming helmets cuz of the cool factor... But is it just me or is all that silver w/blue highlights a bit off putting?

 

It would be to me if it didn't match the CGI model, which it appears to match quite closely.

 

BUT WAIT! Are all the boxes going tk have Optimus at the top? I'd love it if each box had the character they come with, but I could see it being Optimus in all of them. The last time we had CGI renders that I can remember was Beast Hunters and it was also Predaking.

 

we wil have to see, but it makes sense for thsi to have Optimus, since this is a optimus product
